Famed Fashion Critic Mr. Blackwell Hospitalized

 Neilson Barnard/Getty Images Famed fashion critic Mr. Blackwell — known for his annual worst-dressed list — has been hospitalized with a serious illness, his business partner tells the Associated Press. The 85-year-old Blackwell (whose first name is Richard) has been in the hospital and unconscious since Tuesday, his partner, Robert Spencer, said. Spencer declined to explain the nature of Blackwell's illness. For four decades, Blackwell has issued an annual worst-dressed list. Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham topped his most recent list. "Forget the fashion spice - wearing a skirt would suffice!" he wrote. "In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty posh can really wreck-em." He purposely left Britney Spears off his 2007 list, explaining that her "personal life is in such upheaval. I hope 2008 is a better year for her." See photos of unbelievably bad-dressed stars. Ex: "The UCLA cartoon logo bruin shorts, have been banned from dormitory common areas such as each floor's shared living room, reception lobby, cafeteria, elevatos, etc." Etcetera means "and so on". Take note, or go back to 10th grade!!
