FACEBOOKIt is so sad that US Magazine assumes that their readership is so limited in their cultural horizons that they cannot give this story an appropriate headline. Stanley Kamel is CLEARLY not a "former 90210 star"--a headline appropriate for the majority of the cast members who have done nothing of note since the show. He was a key player on Monk--one of the best shows on TV! So sad. Don't get me wrong, I love me some 90210. But c'mon!

Former 90210 star Stanley Kamel was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday.
He was 65.
He died of a heart attack, according to TMZ.com.
Access Hollywood first reported the news.
Kamel is known for playing Rebecca Gayheart's father on Beverly Hills 90210, as well as for roles on The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Melrose Place, The Golden Girls, Days of Our Lives and Murder One.
He mostly recently played Dr. Charles Kroger on the USA hit Monk.
In a statement, a USA rep said, "USA is deeply saddened by the news of Stanley Kamel's passing. Stanley was an amazingly talented and extremely kind man, and an important member of the USA family. He will be sorely missed."

Stanley Kamel was a talented actor perfectly suited for his role as Adrian's psychiatrist on Monk. The show won't be the same without him.My heart goes out to his family and friends in this sad time. As for the comment that he's on drugs. The man was 65, the picture was only a week old.Not everyone is hollywood gets plastic surgery, and he looks no worse than any other 65 year old you see walking down the street.I do agree the headline is misleading.90210 ended over 8 years ago, he barely appeared on it, and has been in half the episodes of Monk since it first began 6 years ago.It would make much more sense to recognize his work on this current hit show.

He was on the show for 8 episodes-I wouldn't exactly call that being a "star' of the show. It lasted for 10 years!

My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time. May they remember the good times shared and always have him in their hearts. Us Weekly... PLEASE change the title of this sad story! It gave me a heart attack when I saw "Former 90210 Star Found Dead." Not to discredit him but he was only on I believe about 6 episodes in 1 season of 90210. I am a die hard fan of the show and to me a "Former Star" is people like Luke Perry, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, etc. Not a guest star in 6 episodes. Maybe you should credit him as a "Former Monk Star Found Dead" when you state above that he most recently played Dr. Charles Kroger. RIP Stanley!

People seriously need to leave this guy alone, he was a star, because if he wasnt he wouldnt be on US Weekly. Just because you watched 90210 and dont remember him, does not mean he wasn't famous! Idiot!

:( this makes me so sad. Monk is a great show and Stanley did an excellent job in his role as Dr. Kroger. The show won't be the same without him. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Terrible.

I am no doctor by any stretch of the imagination, but If I were to venture a guess, I would be willing to say he has been battling an illness. Possibly cancer?? I have had several members of my family taken due to cancer after a hard fought fight and this pic. kind of reminds me of how they looked. Just frail and not healthy.
Regardless of how or why he died.. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I hope he rests in peace.

4:50... he was the evil father of Dylan's wife... remember her? She had really curly hair? He was the one that wanted to kill Dylan and instead had his own daughter killed accidentally when she took Dylan's car.

i watched 90210 like a champ when i was younger & dont remember this guy at all. i'm sorry to hear about this but this guy wasnt a "star" on that show by any means.
