Funeral Set for Kanye West's Mom

 The family of rapper Kanye West's mother Donda has now made plans to hold a funeral next Tuesday in her native Oklahoma City. KOCO Channel 5 in Oklahoma City reports that a funeral for West will be held at the city's Howard-Harris Funeral Home. West died of complications from tummy-tuck and breast reduction procedures on November 10 in Los Angeles at the age of 58. Results from an autopsy conducted by the Los Angeles County coroner's office on Tuesday will not be available for another 6 to 8 weeks, pending further tests. West's surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams, has been called into question since the tragedy, as Adams has had two medical malpractice judgments against him, according to records obtained by Us. Sources tell Us that Kanye West was in London rehearsing for a tour at the time of his mother's death, and has stayed there in the hopes of grieving privately. Access Hollywood reports that Chicago State University, where West taught English for 30 years, will also hold a private memorial service on Friday. I have read every comment that was post come nice and some just upright wrong. what you people dont understand is that he body had to go to the coroner office. and you never know how long it will take them. so well since they want to talk about keep a body up long well they kept anna n. smith for a month before her funeral. sometimes it takes other long to some to there senses. in dont rush into the arrangement in i think he did the best thing we he dont leave from were he was she was gone and there was know need for him to leave i think it hurts so bad to lose you mother because she is there from day one. death is a long process. plus my family we hold our bodys for a week at the less. hold to them now because when tueday comes in she is in the ground then there is not any bringing her back up. he was a only child to her so it hard for him to let go of her. but i know that joy come in the morning and deather will be NO more..... keep the family in your prayers in the time of the lost of there love one....DR.D WEST now a heavenly angel...watching over her Baby..Kanye West.

I could care less about privacy. If I was called and informed of my mothers death I'm on the next plane to get to where she is. I feel like he put his own needs in front of what was really important. I know there is nothing he could do for her at that point, but just to be where she is and have a chance to see her before the funeral.
