I'm 49, did a tri last year, workout regularly 3 days a week, and am looking to enroll in TaeKwonDo along with my 15 year old. You and Laird give me some awesome ideas on health. Tell Laird, he seriously kicks bootay in the water. I've been following him a bit too. I'm a so. Calif. girl and I try to stay fit and happ and athletic too... It's in my blood. Thank you. Cathy

Gabrielle Reece and her husband of nine years, pro surfer Laird Hamilton, 43, are expecting their second child.
Reece, 37, announced that she’s three and a half months pregnant on The Today Show Friday morning.
The couple have a 3-year-old daughter, Reece Viola Hamilton.
The 6-foot-3 former professional volleyball player holds seven Olympic medals. She once worked as a model for the prestigious Ford and Elite modeling agencies, commanding up to $10,000 a day.
Reece filed for divorce from Hamilton in January 2001, but the couple reconciled a year later.

No,Laird only has one daughter, Bela, from his first marriage. Thie will be his second child with Gabby. Congrats to them both, they're both gorgeous!

Laird is a great friend of Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam's singer/songwriter extraordiare. Sundance channel had an "Iconoclasts" episode which portrayed the two, and let me say this, I was astounded by Laird's atheleticism; in order to be the world's greatest in-sea, high wave surfer (he surfs waves up to 100 ft tall!), he strength trains extensively. As does Gabby and toddler Reece, what a beautiful family. They are very happy and natural together... and such a treat to see Eddie as the relaxed and shyly competent surfer he is, as well as photos of his little girl and wife, Beth. It's an incredible program and anyone who has access to the Sundance channel, check for the show to run again. Congrats to the Hamilton's and I'm sure their new baby will be a joyously welcomed addition!

Beautiful pair! Glad they worked it out, bet the babies will grow up perfect and beautiful. They have the most beautiful home, Maui I think. It is amazing.
