After Us reported in May that Jon -- the 32-year-old husband to Kate and father to sextuplets and twins -- has had a three-month affair with 23-year-old schoolteacher Deanna Hummel, Kate acknowledged that they might split. Jon, who had been suspicious of his wife's relationship with her bodyguard, attests that he never cheated, but a family source said that the TLC couple does not want to work on fixing their relationship.

72I do not watch the program anymore and I am thrilled that Jon is stopping the production.
Those children are being exploited by this Reality TV show....through the centuries there have been parents that have raised their children on their own....what is so special about them...too much media....let the children live a normal life...Jon and Kate need to get a real job and live in the real world like everyone else.... The losers are the children period.
i really dont think Jon is bein fair. Kate shud b able to keep the show because she DID get custody. but you knoe kate was a hard mouthed wife and a loud parent soo... i dunno
Shame on all of you. What is this world coming to? Jon and Kate need a lot of prayers and those kids deserve the very best. Let's quit the jealousy, lies, deception and pray for this family.

Now Jon Gosslin wants to make decisions! What took you so long? The very first time Kate put him down, with her lashing tongue, is when he should have stood up to her and said that if she does it again, he's closing down production. Kate, of course NOW comes across as an understandable, "sweet" mother, who probably has realised just, to what extent she "pushed him around"! No wonder she's unhappy; realizing what her part was in this breakup. As for Jon, After seeing that the other side of the fence is full of YOUNG women, woul'd LOVE to get this man to marry them; after seeing how he NEVER "told Kate to back-off" with the embarrassing comments & slide remarks. Ok I watch this show....well used to...before i relised how much of a self centered bitch Kate was. He cant fix her family....she dont want to give up all the money she is making on her "book", and give up the attention that her failing attempt at being a mother has given her now. Now I am not defending Jon....he is a pooer excuse for a parent than she is. I have 6 childeren my self.....and you dont need all thosr damn bells and whistels to raise sets of multipils. I think that whole show was a fake put on and a good way to get rich....Think of how long those kids are going to have therpy......I hate to tell ya the damage is already done to those kids....... Neither one of them deserve those kids.....If she would give up the fame ,and if Jon would just grow up those kids might have a chance at a future.
Ok Angel Kelly, first you need to learn how to write. Perhaps go back to school before you post a statement. As for Kate, she is by far the biggest faker I've ever seen on a reality show. Jon did the right thing in getting out of that unhappy marriage with her. She OCD and always wants to have control of everything. She made sure that she took every opportunity to put him down. She got what she deserved. I think his a better parent than she is.
I watched Jon and Kate at first. But everytime Jon said something, Kate would interrupt and give her version. It was like Jon could not have not opionion. Maybe the show needs to end.

Good for him, he was not happy with it you can tell on the show she was always putting him down and nagging at him on the show. And she was just being a fake mother you could see it. I watched the show and loved it at first. Now, it seem like it just about her not the husand are the kids.

I watched this show twice and had enough. You cannot lay your lives out before the entire world and expect any degree of normalcy. Grow up!

We all have issues. Family is the most important, as you will find out, as you get even older. You both should seek help to work out the differences. We all love you both.
Jon and Kate! you guys need to save your marriage, your children are great blessing in your lives, forget the WORLD and focus on your FAMILY, family comes first. If you guys will devorce, you will bring more problems to your children, coz that will clearly show that your love for each other is fate! So please get back together and work things out, there's always way to fix problems, don't let them win you. One day your children will come to you guys and say " We don't love you mom or dad because you guys left us with NO LOVE! you gave up on us. How will you feel about that? Remember that we will all get old and have wrinkle skin no longer look young. The show needs to end, i agree! i don't know what's with those people's brain? hoy! Please save your marriage that's the only way you can show that you LOVE your children, like i said, don't let the world ruin your marriage and parenthood. The children are adorable they deserve to grow up with their parent.
It's been rumored that Jon wants out of his contract with TLC...and maybe this is how he going about it. It's best that the show end now. How confusing to the kids to only be on TV without daddy after so many years of a "family" show.
