For those of you who want to pick on Tom Brady for deserting his child and not being there, you don't know what goes on behind close doors and don't really know what the deal is between him and Bridget. He may have tried to see his son, maybe not. But to comment on things you know nothing about is just ignorant.
I don't know for a fact, but it seems that there were problems in the relationship and Bridget admitted she wanted a family and got pregnant. Granted it takes two to have that happen, but all females know they can certainly do things to make things happen their way. That is a fact. Missed birth control pills, holes in diaphrams, etc.
I am not saying that Bridget did this but she was the one that was completely devastated by the break up. Any women been out there in a situation where they would have done anything to save the relationship? Yep, there are.
So saying Tom Brady is a scum, when everything on the surface doesn't make him look that way is ridiculous.
By the way, I am a person married to someone who has children and the ex wife has done everything she can for him not to see his children.

People in the public eye may not be so different. Just because someone looks to be lovely in the public eye, doesn't mean they are in private.

Ok...so let me get something straight because both Tom and Bridgett were both irresponsible adults and had unprotected sex that makes it one persons fault??? Gisele may not be all that but she still is a human being. I dont think it was her keeping Tom from his kid or even Bridgett....I think he was the one that chose not to be there. It will haunt him later in life when his son is older and knows the truth. As far as Bridgett and Tom living on different coast well there are families all over the world where kids only see one parent a couple of months out of the year. Tom and Bridgett have the money for Tom to see his son more than what he does....that is his personal choice not too. There are millions of deadbeat fathers out there in America and I dont see anyone critizing them. Just because Tom is a star that means he has to live a certain lifestyle? I think that is wrong to assume just because he has money he should move or buy another house to make a good impression.....he should only be in his son's life only if he wants to be there. He has too want give him the love and everything that comes along with raising a kid. If he doesnt want to do it then the kid is going to grow up more screwed up then what he could already be....I hate to say it but sometimes women make better fathers then men themselves. There are plenty of single women out there playing both the mommy and daddy roll so get off that.

During the weeks before the Superbowl, Tom was giving interviews to all outlets, and he was asked several questions about his son and if he saw him often. Tom said HIMSELF that he doesn't see his son all that often, and he even said he wasn't a really good father, but he said he has a lot to learn. I don't think Tom's a bad parent, I just think he needs more expierence and time with his son. It doesn't really help all that much when Bridget lives on the West coast and he lives on the East coast. To make a good impression Tom should at least live near the baby during his time off from football, he can afford it, so he should. Bridget has every right to not want to move back to the East coast, she's the mother of the child and she takes care of the child full time, so it should be up to Tom to live near his son.

Tom can be happy as can be with Giselle, and he doesn't have to have anything to do with Bridget, although being on speaking terms is good, but it would be nice if Tom did something for his son. You never know, maybe all three can be on good speaking terms and raise the baby together. I see Tom with his son now, but how good is it for a baby to have to travel on a plane and fly all the way to the East coast to spend time with his father. I can't say what goes on in any of their relationships, and I don't know why Bridget and Tom broke up, and all those other rumors. What's more important is little John, and I hope Giselle doesn't stand in their way to raise the baby, and I hope jealousy doesn't stand in the way by both women, and I hope Tom can have a good relationship with his son.

I find it amusing that everyone wants to believe Tom has his son's best interests at heart, mostly because he's a quarterback and presumeably if you can throw a football, that automatically means you are a good father. And of course, because Bridget was 7 years older than him and what did one of you fools say, "not a bankable actress" she trapped him by getting married...right..great theory. If she's 3 months pregnant after they break-up in December, that means they were having sex right up until the end..so yeah if Tom was a classy individual, Tom would have been there for her regardless of his penchant for Gisele.

Tom's son would be best served if Tom and Bridget agreed to move within a mile of each other and mutually raise their child. Because contrary to what Bridget says, its not good for the boy to be without his father..no matter how great women are...men are there for a reason - they are there to make sure boys grow up to be men and not confused nincompoops who are too intouch with their feelings.

The whole episode is sad but Tom needs to get his head out of his a** and man up. His mother cannot be proud of her son. She just can't.

I don't know why anyone would say he dumped his pregnant girlfriend - he did not know she was pregnant until 3 months after they broke up. And regardless of what anyone things of either of them, they are a very happy couple. I don't really care about either of them, but I think they deserve happiness. Good luck you guys!

in case you people forgot it was bridget you didn't want tom to talk to her when he started dating giselle and it was bridget who wouldn't let tom see his son after he was born. News flash everyone. None of us know the situation behind what happened with these people. Tabloids and gossip blogs go off of something they heard somebody else heard somebody else say and oh yeah, they make stuff up. Traditional entertainment is being ruined because people are busy worrying about who Tom Brady is screwing rather than how he plays football. People probably pick their favorite teams based on bs like this. You can read it, laugh about it then put it out of your mind. Enjoy what should be enjoyed...a football game, a movie or a song but not the drama that someone has fabricated so that they can make more money than the people with the actual talent. Just my thoughts.
