There is a reason they dont want super models to have really gorgeous faces and its because it will detract from the personna of the clothes they are modeling..

not ugly, but not the "most beautiful supermodel", the boyish look needs to go out of style forever. adriana lima has a more womanly body(still a little too thin though). it amazes me how people tend to put down the girls in playboy/ maxim and praise these waifish catwalk girls. the playmates are way hotter and look like WOMEN (and playboy is very classy, i hate when people try to compare it to porn cause its not on that level!!!)to me the voluptuous look is what is beautiful. think feminine, not masculine people....

gisele does not have a pretty face, but she must give something great to be where she is at with that face and manly body. aren't most fashion designers gay and that would explain their obsession with her.

Everyone seems to be speaking only about Giselle,okay!YES!we know thats true,she is beautiful!,but okay I agree with the people about Claudia and Shalom,but what about Kate Moss and Linda and Naomi and Cheryl Tiggs and Cindy Crawford,what about these models and Christy T.they are also very beautiful and they have beautiful faces,I havent seena new model yet that compares to these ones,they are still looking beautiful now...,but one day they will be old and who will replace them?because there are no new models that can stand up to them not at all so I think fashion will be over!

This girl is absolutely one of the MOST beautiful models that I have ever seen if not the most Beautiful,It might be truer to say the most beautiful.She has a most beautiful face I have ever seen.The other models today are horrible and there has been so much discussions about the models today on many shows and magazine articles about how horrible the models are today,so much so that I dont bother anymore to pick up a magazine unless I see Giselle or Shalom or Claudia Schiffer ,or someone famous.

My Favorite was Nikki Taylor! She went on to have twin boys. I never hear anything about her anymore. Her poor sister was killed at 19. She was beautiful also.

I think Gisele is beautiful, and part of the reason she is doing so well is that her face is distinctive, and not a generically pretty girl face.

She is an amazing looking woman, she is not too thin either. She has a normal body size for her type. And reallly, we would all ask for a raise in pay if we knew we could get it!!

Carol Alt was gorgeous as well. I just loved her beautiful, piercing eyes. Christie Brinkley--fabulous. When do you hear Gisele speak though? If you watch Tyra's ANTM, she mentions that it's not about a supermodel posing anymore. More and more covers are going to actresses because they're more marketable with their ability to be beautiful and speak. Supermodels are becoming very few and far between...

I just don't get it with the Giselle obsession. I think she has a beautiful figure, but her face is totally manly. I don't think it's very soft or feminine at all. I said that the other day, and my own friends looked at me like I was crazy, but I don't think her face is very attractive. I agree that the supermodels back in the 80s and 90s were much more beautiful than they are today - Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, etc. Faces used to matter. When did theey stop taking faces into account? It's like it's all about the body now and being stick thin. The size-0 with double D fake boobs is such a ridiculous standard, but sadly it's becoming increasingly commonplace. Where I live, men almost expect it, which is really aggravating. But anyway, yeah, Giselle is overrated.
