FACEBOOKI just saw Kate play a naughty girl in INSIDE OUT, an indie film that just came out on dvd. She's great in it... and totally stuns you in the end. So hot. Film is good, very 'different.' I can't believe what she did in it!

Now you'll be seeing even more of your favorite Anatomy.
ABC announced late Friday that they have picked up the Grey's Anatomy spin-off series starring Kate Walsh and tentatively titled Private Practice. The series will debut next season.
After the success of the May 3 test episode that was part of a two hour Grey's extravaganza, the pick-up was a no-brainer for the network. In addition to Walsh's Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, the new show stars Taye Diggs (Day Break), Tim Daly (The Nine, Wings), Hector Elizondo (Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries), Paul Adelstein (Prison Break), Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars), Merrin Dungey (Alias) and Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy).
While this certainly simplifies the race for a chief at Seattle Grace (not to mention a number of people's love lives), it seems most Grey's fans would rather see Addison continue her ongoing anatomy lesson with Dr. Alex Karev. At last count, 65% of Usmagazine.com readers would have preferred to see the fiesty OB/GYN stay in Seattle.
ABC executives did not heed your request.

OMFG!! I love kate walsh!!!! and of corse Addison. Her and Alex have to get together! they are made for each other and she cant leave :'( My friend calls Greys Anatomy,, "Gays Anatomy" but she hasnt even seen the show, so she doesnt know how great it is. She loves one tree hill. I think that show is horrible and has the worst actors ever!! Greys anatomy has great actors and its SUCH a great show

Also,, Desperate Housewives and Gilmore Girls are also great shows!!

Not buying gas tomorrow will not help the situation, that is just stupid to believe something like that. It does not hurt the gas and oil industries, it helps them because the day after we still have to buy gas. And public transportation will not stop for something so silly.

the show sucked! it was horrible! cheesy mundane and offensive. what in the world? shonda needs to deflate the ego and tone down on the greed. it's as though she thinks she is undestructible.
i listen to the podcast and she said outright that it was NOT a pilot for a spinoff and that addison was just "finding herself". It was a slap in the face that she thought viewers are that retarded. She didnt do the podcst until feedback had come in and oh, the messageboard is monitored to only let a balanced amount of opinions slip through. she just wants her show on the air.

All the critics bashed it. Most fans hated it. I dont understand how they could base that episode--which was suppose to be one hour of Greys and one hour of the spin off seperately instead of jogging them together--as a success enough to give it its own full ride. Everyone I know hated it and most critics hated it too.

It's good to know that if the show doesn't take off, she can return to Seattle Grace. When she came onto the scene, it added a whole new dynamic to the show, and she's been fantastic. I'm curious to see where they go with the new show, it looked like it could be a real hit, but ultimately, I'd LOVE to see her back in Seattle, maybe with a new man (Tim Daly) in her life in a couple of years to spice things up on Grey's!!
Congrats Kate...we'll miss you, but I know I'LL be tuning into her show. She's a beautiful and talented actress and she deserves all her success!

I don't follow the show that closely, but I was a bit surprised when I first heard that they were planning a spinoff with Addison - she didn't strike me as the most popular character. I've seen Kate Walsh in interviews and she seems a lot more likeable in real life than her character on the show. It might be a hit, but if it flops, I'm sure she'll be allowed to return to Grey's Anatomy.

I watched it because it was still playing scenes about Greys A. I do not know if it will be strong enough to survive on it's own. How much can they put those people threw in a practice at least in a hospital you can bring new people in and out. Not sure about this one. But Tim Daly looked hot as usual!!!!

So happy! I loved the spinoff episode. Taye Diggs is a strong actor and with him she will have a great spinoff. One of the actors is from Prison Break. My other fav show other than Greys. I loved seeing him play this loose guy rather than the uptight crazy government official. Anyway back 2 Kate. She is beautiful and talented and I hope her show spins off with ease and popularity.
