Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child – a boy named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale – at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Thursday, a rep for the couple confirms to Usmagazine.com.

"Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy," the rep adds.

Zuma, who was born at 12:46 p.m. PST, weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds.

In January, Rossdale's father Douglas confirmed to Us that the couple were expecting again.

Stefani, 38, and Rossdale, 40 — who wed in in London in 2002 — welcomed son Kingston in May 2006.

"I am sort of trying to live in the month I have left with just one little guy," Rossdale told Us in July.

Rossdale told Us that he and Stefani didn't know the baby's gender.

"It's just gonna be insane when it comes because then we will find what it is," he said. "And then we get to name the baby! It's gonna be such chaos ... amazing chaos!

"I'm just trying to be there for the wife," he told Us. "Look after her and be cool."

Stefani has long said she wants to give their boy a sib.

"I'm in a race to have another," she told InStyle in 2007. "I can't wait to get pregnant again. It's so fun and consuming and romantic."

Of motherhood, she said, "I definitely don't get enough sleep, but I'd rather spend time with him. I've got this extra-fun, amazing, little guy who just wants to hang out with me."

ZUMA = Zuma Beach in Malibu, CA, possibly where he was conceived??? as Kingston is named for Kingston, Jamaica, rumored to have been his conception/special place for Gwen and Gavin
NESTA = Bob Marley's real first name
ROCK = It's obvious

King and Rock = Kind of cute for celeb names

Do you people really believe this kid will have problems getting made fun of in school??!?! look at his parents! Plus, he'll be living in LA, going to super private schools, where anything goes, they will not be in small town/suburbia USA.
