Hasselhoff's Custody Victory: "Things are Starting to Turn Around"
Tuesday June 19, 2007
![]() Jesse Grant/WireImage.com David Hasselhoff wants to make one thing clear: he will not be hassled. After being awarded primary physical and sole legal custody of his daughters, Hayley, 14, and Taylor-Ann, 17, the America's Got Talent judge was spotted out - drinking non-alcoholic beverages - at the Hollywood hotspot Les Deux with a "mystery female," but assured Ryan Seacrest during a KIIS-FM radio interview this morning that things are definitely turning around for him and his family. "We are Hoff and running!" he joked, before admitting that his recent legal victory was "bittersweet." The court proceedings were certainly tough on his children. "They love their mom, love their dad and just want to get over it and move on," he told Seacrest. "I've learned a lot from them, because they just say 'Who cares!'" Fan support has also impressed the Hoff. "Not one person on the street has come up to me and [been surprised]," he said, referring to the personal videotape, filmed by Taylor-Ann showing the actor drunk, that surfaced online during his custody fight. "Amidst all the negative publicity, all the positive publicity [about his role on Talent proves] the fans know the truth!" Sure, but how will those very same fans feel after reading his new tome - titled, what else? Don't Hassle the Hoff - or hearing his new album? That's when you'll really know who loves you, Hoff!
