  Anyone who knows about Rachel Zoe, the talented beautiful woman behind the big name, knows that she is an extraordinary and amazing person. But its usually these amazing driven talented women that are affected by this crippling horrible disease called an eating disorder. For those of you who yell she is in denial wake up, yes, she is because it is part of the pathology of the disease. For those of you who accuse her husband of not caring, that is not fair. Unless you have been in a family or a friend or even a victim of an ED yourself, you will not understand the greaat challenge of trying to help and support a person, usually a smart and successful person who you respect and admire, who is irrationally determined to destroy herself whether intentionally or unintentionally. You cannot stop someone, an ADULT, from doing what they want to themselves. The nature of the disease is so strong, that there is usually no way to stop the person, and the only choice you have is what? to walk away? to let them just die? to give up on them? no. Its a Catch 22 for everyone involved, and alittle sympathy and respect is due for her husband for doing, what it seems like at least, his bes to support and help his long time wife. It is yet another sad, sad commentary on our society, that so many women and now even men are struck down by this horrible sickening obsession with thinness. Image, thinness, the perfect life, we are on a feed that we can't stop and will only get worse.

  Yes she does need help but any of you idiots that think you need to write down your height and weight at your lowest point to prove you know what youre talking about are just adding to societies problem eating disorders come in all shapes and sizes and how much you weigh does not equal how sick you are and if you really had an eating disorder and have been through therapy you would know that it is not about the number

  I agree about the age thing. I thought Rachel was at least 45. If she thinks she looks good in this picture, she is on drugs. Rachel - go get help now before it's too late.

  Ew... I don't know why some people put themselves through this. They more than likely looked a million times better when they were bigger. No one likes a skeleton.

  She is in serious denial. I can't imagine any Dr. who has seen her in the past few months has not advised her to get some help ASAP. WTF is wrong with the husband?!

  yeah she is defiantely in denial.....and she is a few pounds away from a heart attack and dying. Her husband obvoiously doessn't care or he would be smart enough to step in and intervene. He's either cheating or just doesn't give a sh*t!!!! If she thinks she's healthy well then she is just crazy and needs to seek help immediately....or followm my advice..EAT!!!!

  There is no WAY that she is a healthy weight. You can not be healthy and literally have every bone in your body exposed underneath your skin. Rachel is probably naturally thin, and maybe even naturally scrawny, but this bird has no meat on her bones! She can not get help till she wants it though. She is a grown woman, and will make her own decisions.

  I think it is really sad. I used to weigh 62 pounds when I was 18 and all I saw was an ugly girl. Her mind is so distorted and she doesn't see what we see when we look at her. That is what an eating disorder leads to. It's way more difficult than people realize and not too many people seem to want to understand what they're about. So I feel bad for her and I know how she feels. Unless you know how it is, you shouldn't immediately judge people and say nasty things.

  To Gabrella- I do know what I am talking about.You would know that.As a former anorexic I know by just looking at this picture that Rachel has an eating disorder.Her bones stick out and her skin is hanging.No respectable man that has taste would think this woman is attractive because she isn't.You can be sweet,work long hours and have stress and still have an eating disorder.

  She needs mental help. She's in an industry where "thin is in," but she's taken it too far. She IS too thin. Look at her face. It's drawn, tired-looking, and unattractive. She doesn't look healthy at all. But I think her work in the fashion industry has messed up her thinking about how she should look.

  She's definitely in denial. A half a grapefruit or one apple a day is not sufficient nutrition to sustain life. Her family needs to intervene asap.

  Yes, she is extremely thin, but she is also very talented, sweet, and has immense passion for what she does. Stress can cause a lot of problems, so instead of making fun of her, one should be concerned and hope she sees her condition (as I'm sure she does) and starts taking better care of herself. She doesn't need to listen to everyone who doesn't have a clue as to her lifestyle and what her days are filled with. She lives the life so many of you could only dream of, don't hate someone you don't know anything about.
