Sometimes when you find The One, you just know. So explains Vince Vaughn of his decision to wed Canadian real estate agent Kyla Weber.
"I met the best girl in the world," The Dilemma star, 40, says on Friday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "It gives you such a great purpose in your life. If I would've met her, I would've done it a long time ago so I'm very, very happy."
But the funnyman, who split with Jennifer Aniston in 2006, admits he wasn't always so anxious to settle down.
"Sometimes, in our industry, well, I speak for myself, maybe that's an excuse, but you don't mature always at the same time. So if I was very fortunate that when I got ready and was open to that, then that person came into my life," he says. "You have to be ready to receive that. No question."
Vaughn also adds that he's adjusting to life at home with their one-month-old daughter Locklyn, whom he jokingly refers to as "the baby."
"If I just call her "Baby" then she'll love the movie Dirty Dancing but she won't know her proper name," he quips. "No one puts her in a corner."
