HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!!!

I truly commiserate with the loss of this talented and daring actor. My first thought when I learnt about his death went to his daughter and his partner. I did the maths and found out that his daughter (who was born by the end of the shooting of BROKEBACK MOUTAIN) was actually 2 or 3 years old. what a pitty, I thought! I just want to say, as a doctor, that we should all be carefull with the use of medical drugs and that one should (or has to) establish a trust relationship with his doctor so as to avoid such accidents. Indeed, drugs can sometimes interact with one another and thus be toxic to us especially if associated with drugs(marijuana, cocaine...). Ledger's death must learn us all to avoid such mistakes.
You GREAT YOUNG MAN, may you rest in peace and may God help your familly to overcome this tragic event and move forward with their lives because death is eventually something that we will all have to face one day or another.

Heath, your death affected me greatly. I witnessed a similar death of a young 22 year old up-coming actor known as Freddie Prinz, while working on his hit TV show, "Chico and the Man." People are indicting your death as a suicide without even knowing the facts, and the media is perpetuating these stories to get headlines. I was sickened when someone on Larry King Live was asked by the host if your death would boost the box office gross of your up-coming movie, "The Dark Knight." What an obtuse statement to make. You were so talented and so young, and just became a doting father. This whole incident is surreal to me, knowing that you were caught up in the Nefarious world of Hollywood, fame and fortune. I pray you find solace in Heaven, and may God gless your grieving family and friends. REST IN PEACE!

I would hope someone is monitoring these posts and will remove a couple very distasteful comments from previous posts here. How dare people even try to pretend to know they know the story of what Heath has been through, or making accusations of him being a druggie. Please! Of course the media is going to dig up every shred of "drug info". Everyone loves a great tragedy, right?! Who's the junkies here?! Heath is not here to tell his side or explain the so called drug video that I think is horrible that anyone even released that...It was taped without his knowing, that should be illegal to show it. You know, I lead a very clean, healthy lifestyle.... I am a good mother and wife. But.... I have a past! If I died today, and my past came slamming to the present with videos, stories, my history on drug use mixed with some lies to really make it good and jaw dropping.... I would be remembered as a druggie, a dark tortured soul. How shameful! Why can't the media focus on the good stuff? Not in a naive, uneducated way.... But we've had enough years now to see the effects on how the news coverage effects our overall well being, it's all fear based information! We're addicted to the bad stuff. I think we should bring ourselves up to a higher level. Share the good things we know to be true and carry on with our days remembering how precious life truly is.

He was incredible. I will remember the devilish, childish look in his eyes ...and that sweet smile. An old and restless soul indeed.

I was completely shocked by the loss of such a beautiful and talented actor at such a young age. I have read every possible article on the events of Heaths death and have been hurt further by some of the down right rude comments of some journalists. How dare they talk bad of someone they hardly know especially at a time when his family and friends are trying to find out exactly what happened to their loved one.

I feel angry yet sorry for the housekeeper that found him, as in some reports she says she heard him snoring while she entered the house. What kept her from dialling 911 to start with I don’t know. If she had, who knows we may not be in the state of mourning that we are. But she will forever be known as the women that left him to die.

My heart goes out to his family, friends and beautiful baby girl. Although she will grow up without her father she will have many people around her that can tell her what a truly inspiring guy he really was.

Lets all pray for heath!! He was definetively an extraordinarious actor!! I think it was not time for him to go! not yet! But we all Know God acts in mysterious ways.....having said that, I think about his family, about his little girl, what a tragedy has happened to them!1...If I feel deeply sad!1 meaning that I am his fan!! imagine what his family and friends are feeling......and for the media ....HAVE A LITTLE RESPECT FOR THEM IN HIS MEMORY!! I think Jake is a total mess. Wouldn't you be if your best friend died. Wouldn't you want to be a "person" versus a "celeb." at the time of your friends death. I don't blame Jake so staying out of the media. The media already caught his best friend on a stretcher dead. The media already stalked Heath's wake. If I were Jake I would hit anyone from the media that tried to speak to me about Heath. I don't think he owes anyone a comment. I think he deserves to grieve on his own.

Truly sad. For all of you out there that are making nasty comments, remember this, only God can judge each and everyone of us in this life and the next. Even though you may all go about living your sad lives thinking you are immune to the hardships that life can present you with, I believe in karma. Someday someone close to you WILL die. Its not a matter of if, but when. Hopefully, if you are lucky, that person will be old and have lived a long and happy life. But if you are not so lucky, like my self (sister died at 20, and no it was not drugs - she was hit by a car)you won't know what hit you. And if someone even THOUGHT of some of the mean and cruel things you are saying about Heath and his family you would probably break, so think about that. Would you want someone saying those things about your loved ones? Probably not. And if you say you don't care, then you obviously so far removed from reality that it won't matter anyway.

For those of us that truly feel sad and grief, remember that you are not alone. He is in a better place. I just pray that his family and friends will get through this. I know they will. I just takes time.

Do you know how many junkies die every day. He's better off now he won't have to hide his habit. The gossip mags act like he's a god he's a junkie for christ sake.

I am absolutely appalled at the evils that prey upon the world seeking the ruin of souls. Nothing has been brought to light that anything foul occurred to bring on his death. Yes, he was a very gifted actor but first and foremost people.... he was a human being, a daddy, brother, son,friend who left this world way too soon and is now gone forever!! If you can't think, say, write something positive; have some compassion and respect for his memory and his family.

I was so sickened to watch that attention seeker who was GIVEN air time (Thursday 1/24/08) to gloat filth about how she bought Heath drugs while at a visit at Naomi Campbell's. She was some wannabe who had worked for Campbell and Campbell disputed the validity of this woman's lies stating she was nowhere near the facility at the time in question and had, in fact, been fired previously.

$$$ Program directors$$$!! YOU ARE SICK!!! You have no compassion?? It's all a buck and ratings for you!! Did you research her accusations before being party to this poor man's defamation?? That makes you no better than the animals that stalked Princess Diana and weren't satisfied until the ultimate story that took her from her sons and the world.

What can I say? I mean Heath Ledger! Who would have thought such a sweet individual would be taken from us at such an early age? We cant all be selfish and say "we" what we can say is that we lost a fellow human who entertained us in many ways and made us see "hollywood" in a whole different way. His shyness, his sweetness, and his obvious wonderful attitude and just pure light was so apparent and there will never be another man like him in hollywood. i wish I could have known him personally...anyone could see that he is the type of man that doesnt let things go to his head and that he is able to keep things real...for lack of better words. When i recieved the first text message..first of many..I refused to believe that he had passed because...I LOVE heath ledger.Its just so hard to believe someone with such a sweet face and demeanor like his is no longer in our presence. Him, his acting, his love for his daughter, his appreciation for life, just Heath period will be missed..like I said...what do i say? We have lost a great human..i hope im not sounding crazy here...I just cannot believe...him of all people..this had to happen...anwyay folks...sorry if i jumped arounf here...i tend to do that...just so many thoghts have been going through my head since this happened...and im not quite sure how to put them all down...its just a shame..we are subjected to hollywood everyday...and when someone as wonderful as him comes along and sheds some new light on everyone that...not all celebrities are nasty...he is taken from us. he was the hollywood guy we love to hear about...i should say he IS the hollywood guy we love to hear about...i hate talking about people in past tense..especially when it comes to someone like him. he is a ray of light and we love him..the world has grown to love him and will always love and appreciate the simplicity and shyness and humaness he has provided...rest in peace heath...you have no idea how much you will be missed.

I still don't know how to get through Heath's death...I cried everyday since then...He died the day I celebrated my 19th birthday and that makes it even more hard to bare. I just can't believe it,not even now. Yesterday, after school, I went to church, I lighted a candle for his soul and I prayed for his family.I'll continue to do so.
I never had the chance to meet a famous person. I'm sure he was a GREAT person! You know what it is said: you don't know how truly important something is untill you lose it...I guess this happened to me too...
I HOPE we'll meet in another life, Heath...because I didn't had the chance to do it in this one...

I'm from Perth, Australia...Heath's hometown...and I think it would be really wonderful if Heath was buried at home. I know that he obviously has incredibly strong ties to America because of Matilda, Michelle and friends, but I really hope that Perth is his final resting place.
He's sorely missed.
