Heath Ledger's Family Speaks About His Death

 Chris Weeks/WireImage.com The family of Heath Ledger read a statement outside of their home in West Australia. "We, Heath's family, confirm the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda, who was found in a peaceful sleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. (EST)," his father, Kim, read while accompanied by mother Sally and Ledger's sister, Katie. "We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their kind wishes at this time. "Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life, but few had the pleasure to truly know him. "He was a down-to-earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and unselfish individual who was an extreme inspiration to many. "Please now respect our family's need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately." Separately, Ledger's rep said, "We are all deeply saddened and shocked by this accident. This is an extremely difficult time for his loved ones and we are asking the media to please respect the family's privacy and avoid speculation until the facts are known." Oh my gosh. This is unreal. How can something like this happen to such a young, talented, amazing man? He was so loved and will remain loved for the rest of time. What a tragedy. I am STILL trying to come to terms with what happened to him, even though it has been over a month. I just don't understand. Rest in peace, Heath. You are missed dearly.

Some stars are just meant to burn bright and shine fully before they quickly fade from view. Even though, we can't see the star, the light and energy remains... Such sad news!!! I was really shocking when saw it on Tv, he was such a good actor, but most of all I"ll send all my prayers to his family and beloved specially his little girl, I hope this show us that we should value the life and also take care of ourselves.

but anyways, I'm sorry for Michele's, Matilda's, his parents' and siblings' loss. Also, hopefully there won't be news coverage about this all day long tomorrow again. Just let us know what the medical examiner determined, in a BRIEF news clip...that's all we want...we don't need a million stories about this..

God, I'm so completely depressed over this. He has always been one of my favorite male actors. And I just found out like 5 minutes ago! Yahoo pops up with the headline and I seriously thought it was a joke or something at first. I stop messing around on the computer for a few hours to watch a movie and get back on for a major shock.
