hohoo, I am not that surprised at all. I saw his profile on the celebrities/rich men seeking affairs site sugardaddylove.c o m last week. It said he is interested in seeking a beautiful man for sugar baby on that site!

First of all-he was 17 not 16-and what one considers morally wrong others do not. Why should the age difference matter? They were both legal consenting adults per Australian law- thats the bottom line. He was not a child- I guess its easier for many of you to ignore the law and preach your own moral beliefs. This woman did not commit a crime and she does not deserve your backlash. You have a problem then move to Australia, become a citizen and try to change their law. OTherwise-it didn't happen in the States so leave your American legal system out of it.

Look at people that still live tribal lifestyles where they still view womanhood beginning at menstration and practice rituals commemorating the passage of becoming a man.Are they wrong because they follow their own beliefs,beliefs that don't folllow the American moral code?Calling people sick because they recognize the legal age of consent in another country is absolutely wrong.In fact,its very typical of many Americans who believe that our "way" of life is the only way and critisize other countries for not adhering to our standards.In Australia the legal age of consent is 16 and we have no right to dispute their laws-only the citizens of that country do.The issue that should be addressed is the uncle's disgusting attempts at his 15 minutes of fame and not the relationship.

What is sad is this family lost a son and now the dirt is pulled up from under the rug. I feel bad for both sides. I am sure that if this so called love child would have happened, don't you think (please take no offense)she would have wanted the attention and child-support for this child? He was a star and child-support would have been high. I just think from what I have read that the uncles are ripped that Heath's father is the one with all the money from his death and the rest are greeded or should I say the one that leaked this out. 11 years and not a peep and now he past away and all hell breaks loose, think about it.

About the sex part, you tell me what teen US or where ever has not had sex by 17? I know that there are very few virgins out there and the problem that alot of you have was really not the age of him but the age of her. I'm sure it would be different if she would have been his age.

Why the need for this story to come out in the first place? Obviously this lady and her child have been okay for years now. All of a sudden this Uncle of Heath's comes out and says this. What is this all about? What is his point? Looks to me as if he's trying to stir up some bullchit, when it's not needed. Like I said, obviously this woman and her child have been fine for years now, why the need to rehash this story? Does it really matter? This is none of the Uncle's business. He's obviously mad, because he's been spouting off about Heath's dad, and how he shouldn't be in control with Heath's estate. Was this all on the Uncle? or all on the woman? Who knows. For all those saying its sick when a 25 year old and a 17 year old have sex. No one was raped, so obviously it was okay on both parts. Boys are boys, no matter the age, they're still going to be a boy {and a girl is going to do what she wants as well}. Some wait for sex, some don't. Honestly, if you were so strict with your child at 17, do you really think they'd tell you if they had sex or not? Probably not. My point is, you're not going to stop anyone from doing what they want to do. Now, if you were FORCED, now that's a different story.....

It's all about money, publicity, and attention for the Ledger family. They apparently have money and jealousy issues of their own, so to 'come up' with a nonsense story like this to SELL to the tabloids is sickening. I don't care who did who, etc, etc..the uncles accuse the father of not caring for their relative's estate, yet they are banking on speaking and making stories up for money? Nice family. Hopefully Matilda will at least be taken care of. Sheesh.

I'm not sure about Australia, but here in the U.S. many states say that 17 is the legal age to consent to having sex.

8:16, you obviously have very loose morals. You cannot force-feed everyone your ideals on morals. I have a 22 year old son and a 15 year old son and I can tell you with no doubts that if a 25 year old woman ever tried or had a sexual relationship with my sons at 17, Id have her head on a f'n stick in my from yard.
