Yeah right - advice from the idiot squad. The girl is 15 - a minor. She needs to act her age. You do things like that when you're older. I'm getting more and more discouraged by the breakdown of our society and the unwillingness of parents out there who can't or won't control their children. I will end with a sigh of relief that I don't have kids of my own. Thank God.

If Heidi really is "religious", I would hope she'd find Miley's pictures offensive. Miley is only 15 years old. This photo was a mistake for someone whose fan base consists of very young children.

People, there are a few more important things in the world to worry about than whether a teenage star looks too sultry for her age ... She should have stuck to her guns, said that girls at the beach wear less clothing, et cetera, and taken the outrage and owned it ...

Why do we need to hear anything from "The Hills" actors? What they have been in reality tv for a few years and we should care about their opinions? Give me a break. It's easy to say that when you are of age, but Miley is 15 and still a child and is being exploited. There should be laws protecting these child actors.

For once Heidi said something right. Nobody in this world, including celebrities, should have to answer to anyone. It isn't Miley's problem, it's her public's problem. If they don't like the pictures, they don't have to look at them.

at the end of the day, i don't think the pics were racy. a little "advanced" for a 15 year old, but i think she is a girl w/strong morals and beliefs that she can handle it, and that's what makes the difference. no one can say she is a bad role model for one photo spread and then turn her bakc on her, because i'm sure some of you, as parents, have done things in your life and/or childhood that would not be particularly "role model" material for your children - it's about growing and learning. PARENTS are their first role models, and other second. if your child is the same age as this girl, then you should be able to explain the shoot, and difference between this and posting their pic on YouTube. if your child is too young to understand, than they don't have to be reading Vanity Fair anyway - so who's really to blame? a 15 year old girl in an adult industry posing tastefully and well done for an adult magazine, or the people that are too immature to handle it?

5:57 - you may not let your daughters wear what you don't want them to, but keep in mind that Britney Spears built an entire empire, image and legend. She obviously has some mental issues and a confirmed diagnosis, for which she is seeking treatment for. Not only do I hope your children not make bad clothing choices, but I hope they dont' lack compassion and reasoning like mommy.
