From one reality show to another: The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt attended American Idol last night!
An eyewitness told Usmagazine.com that the pair arrived a few minutes before show time holding hands. They laughed and joked while looking for their seats and did not get up during the entire two-hour broadcast, in which contestants stumbled through another week of Beatles songs.
And forget the Hollywood club scene. If you want to catch a celebrity, go to Idol.
Victoria Beckham brought her three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz (who was dressed up as Buzz Lightyear), plus a security guard and a nanny.
The Spice Girl, who was dressed to the nines with a purple crocodile Hermes Birkin bag (which costs over $8,000) and Christian Louboutin heels, was rushed to her seat with her entourage one minute before the live show began.
Ten minutes before the show went live, Rumer Willis arrived with a guy pal and cheered on her favorite contestants: the dreadlocked Jason Castro, rocker David Cook and Syesha Mercado, a former actress.
Ricki Lake arrived during the third commercial break, sat for a single song, and then left during the next break. Sitting next to her was Sex and the City's Willie Garson, who looked bored, an eyewitness told Us.

I didn't get to see all of "Idol". I hope the cameras didn't cut to these two during the broadcast. That's probably what they were aiming for, but since they're not really "famous", I hope the cameras stayed off them. They don't deserve the little bit of recognition they have now.

Real music like Alabama Thunderpussy? With a name like that, I can't wait to listen to their music (sarcasm). If those bands have such "real" talent, where are they? They Sure in the heck aren't playing on my radio. With that said, I'd listen to Heidi all day long with her whiney voice, than listen to "Alabama Thunderpussy" and "Lair of the Minotaur."

No wonder Idol sucked last night, because these two attended the show. Maybe they can put Heidi on the show as a late entry, that way Simon can tell her how it really is. He can tell her that she's skanky, has a horrible voice and get a real job, oh and dump that creepy looking beaver boyfriend of hers, and he can tell Spencer to get a real job too.

Why are these people being treated like celebrites- they are nothing but fame seeking reality show morons with zero talent. If US keeps putting them on the cover and posting stupid articles like this I will stop buying. Why do people continue to watch American Idol? The show is a big scam. None of the people have any talent. If they were talented they would have been discovered before the show. You geeks who love the show should check out bands like Alabama Thunderpussy, High on Fire, Rebreather, Lair of the Minotaur, Solace, and Converge if you want toknow what real talent is.
