Dancing With the Stars champ Helio Castroneves and his partner Julianne Hough are denying that they're an item.
They ignited rumors Tuesday when Castroneves, 32, kissed Hough, 19, during their quickstep dance on the show's finale. The next day, Castroneves announced his split from his fiancée Aliette Vazquez.
New York's Daily News also reported Thursday that Castroneves and Hough were spotted in Beverly Hills last week "giggling and teasing each other while shopping for matching Ritmo watches together in Beverly Hills at the David Orgell store."
But Hough — who recently denied that she is dating actor Kevin Connolly — insists there is nothing going on.
“Noooooo. We are just friends,” she told Access Hollywood. “There was nothing with [her former partner Apolo Anton Ohno] last season and there’s nothing with Helio now.”
As for that infamous on-air smooch, Castroneves told Access his ex, Vazquez, was not happy with it, but he was. “I was like, 'Yea! I got a kiss, yea!'" he said.
"She’s amazing," the race-car driver told Access of Hough. "I was listening to her, she was the engine of my car I was driving and again everything, all the way, it was a great ride.”

OMG. . .I don't understand why there is so much bashing on Julianne Hough! She is very young, super talented and beautiful and seems to be a fun and caring young woman. Of course her name is going to be attached to her partners while she is competing with them. . .but after the season is over, you don't hear any more rumors about a romance. As for Kevin Connelly, he has repeatedly said that HE was the one pursuing her and not the other way around. She is only 19 yo and she deserves to have fun and date before settling down, but does that mean she is a maneater? The media and the haters made her out to be this. i think she is the complete opposite and really a great moral and hardworking role model for young girls today.
Why do we need to hate on good people who are doing good things in the world while there are people like Britney, Lindsay and Paris out there???

I love this site....Juliane experience a call off wedding as usual. She & Helio had same situation doesn't mean they can't be together, besides they're super cute anyways... And by the way Juliane is always graceful even she's dancing or not... I could lend my vacuum cleaner to her & I believe everybody will think they could be an item too. Juliane is just the cutest thing.. I am soo glad you win, congrats you both!!!

Geeze I think whatever they want to do is fine! Look at Demi and Ashton... that's o.k., so what's wrong with this? If I had that chemistry with someone i'd run with it. Now that the dancing is over and they have to go their seperate ways... the chemistry might fizzle. To each their own. I'm sure there are plenty of dancers in DWTS that have their own dirty little secrets but most people do. Just because these people are stars doesn't mean their feelings aren't justified and not real. Hey and if it works more power to them. Julianne is attractive, but does that make her a gold digger? An opportunist? If that's the case I have alot of GREAT friends that should be rich and have opportunities knocking on their door. But since that's not the case... we just accept beauty doesn't mean evil!!
P.S. Go Helio... ALL OF AMERICA fell in LOVE with you... why wouldn't your partner? Alot of us would have loved to been grinding with you!!!

People don't like it because she's Mormon. She isn't suppose to date outside her religion. See, Mormons believe that the men become their own gods and populate their own planet after they die. So their wives become the "populaters." No Mormon husband = no chance for Julianne to populate her own planet.

How come the same posters who had a problem with Julianne Hough and Kevin Connolly dating have no problem with Julianne Hough and Helio dating? Helio is only 1 year younger than Kevin Connolly, yet you all made a big stink over the 14 year difference between them.
At least Kevin Connolly was single and available when Julianne Hough and he hung out together. It seems like Julianne Hough is wishy washy and glad for the free publicity. She seems to like to toy with men's affections.
I'm glad Kevin Connolly got away from all this mess.

The best dancers won. women Julianna that are successful are trashed by fellow women and the media This is a very successful deserving young women who has strong values and is clear about her career. I am glad they won,they both were the better dancers.Mel is British and did not belong on our American show,Mel looked and sounded like a man dressed like a women trying to dance with zero talent.Her attitude was as bad as her dancing. Julianna and Helio are both professionals and brought that to the table.

Juliane Hough is a beautiful, vivacious, extremely talented...and obviously dynamic personality....AND is only 19 years old!! She is NOT like Britney, Lindsay, Paris, etc...so, WHY do people feel compelled to trash her and bring her down to their level?? Helio's breakup was reported in a racing magazine last month - it's old news for race fans. An engagement is a lot easier to end than a marriage. I agree with everyone who says that they are a cute couple - let them have their fun. They deserved the trophy on DWTS - Mel and Maks were great too, but Helio's smile claimed the day.

Surely he knew how old she was and why he would even be attracted to someone who is barely legal is beyond me. C'mon she just got out of high school for crying out loud. Regardless of Helio's recent announcement concerning his engagement, he DESERVED to win, I was torn between voting for him or Mel because I loved them both! How come no one minds Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves together, despite the fact that he is 32, but had a problem with adorable Kevin Connolly, who is 33? Everyone accused Kevin Connolly of being a skirtchaser and a leech, but he is only 1 year old than Helio and was single all along.
It's amazing that Julianne Hough has created all this hype around who she is not dating. She is doing this to get her name out there, so the public knows who she is when her album comes up.
She should call her album "Heartbreaker" or "Golddigger".

Helio's ex SAID they were already broke up but she chose to keep it quiet until AFTER the show so it wouldn't effect anyones voting. He and his ex are still friends..they just realized they weren't ready to marry. Big deal..it happens and people move on! I suppose next season Julianne will be accused of dating her new partner..just like last season with Apollo. That tends to happen when you're young, attractive, and have a great personality...everybody thinks you're after their guy.

Doesn't anybody stop to consider these people on the show probably spend more time together practicing dancing than they spend with their families/significant other? It's not surprising they would become good friends! Mel B. and Maks seemed to have some pretty hot chemistry going to..as did a few of the other couples. That's what makes a couple good at dancing together! And I seriously doubt Helio and his ex just started having problems when he started doing this show. And if that's the case..they weren't a strong couple to begin with!
