I can certainly understand why Hilary politely declined to sign the autographs. Once she started, she would have been there all night. You see what happened when she signed the menu - two little girls dragging posters show up. If she didn't leave when she did, she would have been there all night. She stated that she rarely gets to spend time with her parents, and the fans should have respected that.
I have nothing but praise for Ms. Duff. Considering the behavior of the rest of "young Hollywood", she is such a wonderful role model for young girls. Her declining to sign autographs during a quiet family dinner doesn't change that.

No one can possibly deny that Hilary Duff looks soooooo great now!! She has literally transfomed from the sickly skinny anorexic body that she had become, into a wayyy healthy looking curvy young woman. She has turned her life to a healthier course and it shows seeing as Lindsay Lohan seems incapable of doing so.

I agree with hilary also, I mean she wasn't mean about it, if it's true. She didn't like yell at them or whatever, but on the other hand, she could of taken the time to sign to autographs, they were kids, not like teenagers or adults, kids are the ones who made her famous to begin with, but I still understand why hilary did it.

I actually agree with HD. Those kids mom's should have respected her right to privacy and being able to have a quiet dinner with her family and not have taken them to the restaurant. I mean seriously, in the end, what are you really going to do with a signature down the road, and a picture, in the end won't be as cherished as say, one with your family. Those little girls might have been upset, but I can see where it would be aggravating having your family time interrupted as well. it's not peoples' rights to walk up to stars during dinner or family time just because we want to and then bad mouth them because they want to have that private time once in a while. they are people too and need that time once in a while. I mean, come on, it's a little ridiculous hitting them up in restaurants, hanging outside their homes and all that. It's one thing if you're walking down the street and run into them, but totally another to seek them out. there's a word for that...it's called stalking.

Yeah...I'm sure Dina really feels "sick" about now huh? If you had been actually trying to help and be a mother to your daughter instead of her friend, she may not be in the situation now.
