George Clooney never left Sarah Larson's side during the Oscars' red carpet – when they spent nearly two hours speaking to every news outlet.
"I curled her hair," the actor told Usmagazine.com when asked how he helped his girlfriend of seven months prepare for the big night.
As for her heavily beaded Valentino gown, Clooney claimed credit. "I'm a seamster!" he told Us. "The ironing of the beads works very well. I sewed all the beads back on myself."
And what was Clooney's romantic plan for the night?
"Drink," the Best Actor nominee told Us.

Dear friends, I think, we all should leave these two people alone. Afterall, who are we to comment upon somebody else's personal lives and choices in the first place? Agreed with the fact that George Clooney, as an actor, is a public figure, and it's no way wrong for his fans wanting him to lead his life just like the good samaritan roles he usually plays in his movies, and be a role model [ I think, he already is a hero, through the good deeds he has done towards Darfur] to look up to, in real life too. But meanwhile, it doesn't mean that he always needs to heed to them, especially so, when it comes to his thoughts pertinent to love [which may be having a varied definition than your's and mine]and choosing a partner for himself. Mr.Clooney, and the lady, Sarah, both may have faltered in their respective lives and some unwatchable skeletons piled up behind them too. But, then again, it's their life. Having said that, I have no dispute with people as well who wants to say that George needs to be more responsible, since Love and life cannot be percieved and performed as a child's play..But, scribbling some unspeakable words against him just because he opted for a lady, who, in their eyes, lacked the supposed requisites to be a would-be-Mrs.Clooney, I think, is not justified at all. Just like you people,I am also an ardent fan of Mr.Clooney, and feel uneasy whenever I get to hear about the unpleasant choices he makes. But I prefer not to develop a hatred either for him or the choices he makes, rather wish him well to all eternity.

You guys are just MEAN!! I can only hope you "ladies and gentlemen" are perfect with perfect mates. Regardless of her previous employment status...you guys seem so intent on implying she's done something unsavory...even so, she's entitled to happiness. Just because one has a jaded past doesn't mean they have to be held in a dungeon for the rest of their lives. Besides, Clooney is no angelic virgin. He couldn't look any less excited about having to be seen with her. Notice ANY time they've been out, his publicist Stan is always less than 36 inches away from them. What everyone needs to remember is that George is "just a normal person" who happens to have succeeded in his acting career and is very successful and wealthy as a result. He happened to bump into another "normal person" who happened to be working in Las Vegas at the Palms as a model and cocktail waitress. Two attractive single people who clearly have fell in love with each other over time. Sarah...you go girl!
