come on people we all make mistakes they were both wrong and nobody is right. The sad part is that no matter what you can not change it and maybe these boys can grow from it and help open young peoples mind and bring something postive out of it . Kids have this it can't happen to me way of thinking mabe when Nick gets out go talk to teens and help save this from happening to someone else. God has a plan and no one knows but, he will get your attention both famlies should be glad to have both boys alive and leave it at that, For the boy that got hurt but,put the shoe on the other foot your son willing got in the car. Money will not but your son back together and i am sure they had insurance and hulk will take care of this young man without going to court and sueing your sons best friend.

I say, anyone who wrote an opinion on this, or any subject for that matter, who cant spell or write properly should be ignored as they dont have enough intelligence or education to know anything of importance.

Hulk is a scum bag i used to love him as a kid.
He did roids to and advertice eat right do vitiams what a fake.
Read Jessy Ventura book he said Hulk sold all the other wrestlers out on getting health benfits from WWF at the time.
Hes a mess that married some money grub slut that took him for a ride and gave him kids.
I say the daughter with little talent might be the only one some what normal.

Gina, my disgust towards the entire Hogan family does not stem from jealousy. I am disgusted after hearing Nick cry that he "misses being out on the water" with his mom, and he "misses hopping in the Escalade and driving to ORlando," while his friend lies in a semi-conscious state, and will remain that way much longer than the mere 8 months Nick was ordered to serve. I am also disgusted with his mother having the nerve to say she is the only one suffering, and that this poor young man John's mother only "cares about the money," that her son meant nothing to her. Furthermore, there's Hulk's commentary on how John must have done some terrible things to have "God lay this down on him." They are repulsive, and I hope people stop supporting these narcissistic twits and ignore their "reality" show.

The entire Hogan family are pathetic excuses for human beings.The parents are about as worthless as parents can be.
I pray for the young man who is suffering through all of this,God bless him and his family.
I think Hulk Hogan should be right beside his little sissy la la boy in jail,hes as guilty as his son.Linda Hogan needs classes on motherhood,shes about as worthless as they get.And,Brooke,what can I say about her,well alot actually,but,it wouldnt be nice either.

I REALLY like how everyone acts like this John had no clue as to what he was getting himself into. Everyone makes a choice, and everyone must live with the consequences. Nick and John were friends. Would you have gotten into a car with one of your friends who was drinking as a naive highschooler??? Nick is just like many other high school kids. They drink too much and drive too fast. This just ended up to be a bad situation that happened and one that Nick will have to deal with for the rest of his life. It's really sick that everyone tries to make a buck out of everything these days. Nick will make it through this. And in 5-10 years no one will remember this.

Nick isn't sorry for what he's done. His plea in front of the judge was a cop-out. He'll be able to walk out of that jail, while his "friend" is in a bed in a comatose state, with half his brain removed, & he'll never be able to walk again. He'll have to be cared for the rest of his life. Hulk Hogan provided that alcohol to his son & John that day, so if anyone really wants to blame someone either than Nick, lets blame Hulk Hogan too. What's done is done, but my goodness, why does he & his family have to act like total jack@$$ spoiled rich people? At least show some sympathy. The Hogans are disgraceful parents, who haven't taught their son an ounce of responsibility, humility or morality. Nick got off scott free, he should be serving 5 years in prison, the max. sentence, so he shouldn't even be whining, but all the while his friend will have to serve a life sentence for never walking or talking again. The vicious things the Hogans are saying about him are truly disgusting, and he can't even defend himself. He's a young war veteran, who gave the Hogans the right to freedom of speech.

Although I will admit that Nick was speeding...why hasn't anyone asked why his best friend didn't have on his seat belt. The best friend is not a minor, and made a choice not to buckle his belt. To me he is as responsibile as Nick. They are both victims of poor choices. Helping kids understand consequences to these decisions is the only good that can come out of this. Bless both of these families...they will never be the same.

He is such a whiny little brat. He made his supposed best friend a vegatable for the rest of his life. If he were a regular joe on the street he would not have gotten the special treatment. I hope he and his horrible family get sued for every nickle they have.

He'll probably only do 3 months due to good behavior and capacity limits.
