EXCLUSIVE: Us Exclusive: Niki Taylor Weds Race Car Driver Burney Lamar

 Jill Wachter Model Niki Taylor, 31, and race car driver Burney Lamar, 26, married at the Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla, California, on December 27, Taylor's manager, Lou Taylor, tells Us Weekly. Taylor’s 11-year-old twin sons from her previous marriage, Jake and Hunter Martinez, were in the bridal party, and Taylor’s elder sister, Joelle Bolline acted as matron of honor. Burney Lamar’s father Izzy Lamar served as best man. The bride walked down the aisle before 60 of the couple's closest friends in a Vera Wang Couture gown. The guests feasted on a five course luncheon of squash soup, pear and apple organic greens, potato Gnocchi with wild mushrooms and a main course of steak and lobster. Famed La Jolla baker Michelle Coulon crafted the four-layer chocolate mousse wedding cake. The couple’s first dance as man and wife was to the Jack Johnson song “Better Together.” The newlyweds gifted their guests with a tote bag that included Kanebo beauty products, Godiva truffles, and a candle pearl stationary from Dotted Line in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple met at a charity event in January 2005. Niki told Us: "I looked at Burney and said to myself, 'This is the guy I'm going to marry.'" Sure enough, Lamar got down on one knee at Taylor’s parents’ house in Florida on September 15 and asked for her hand with a custom-made 2-carat oval diamond in an antique setting. Taylor married former football player Matt Martinez in 1994. The marriage, which produced two boys, ended two years later. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where she owns a clothing boutique called Abbie + Jesse’s. Lamar, who hails from Sacramento, California, began racing go-carts at the age of 5, and is considered to be one of NASCAR's most promising young drivers. This is his first marriage. As a family member of the Groom it was humilating to find out, thru your magazine, that Niki's manager's dog was invited to the wedding, but not one of the grooms mother's siblings,there are four. The only family member invited passed away on November 30th. Shame,Shame,Shame on you.

Well your addictions are diverse. I too have a clothes addiction. It's so rare that i find stuff that fits well that when I do i stick with it and stock up on colors. On top of that my grandmother (sounds weird, really not) has freaking amazing taste and we're close in size. She dresses younger and trendy (and looks good). I also steal her shoes. I've got tons of jeans and skirts and pants and tops. A lot of stuff i don't really wear a lot but I don't want to get rid of it. My newest thing is coats. Short sleeved, long sleeved, whatever. Huh, let's pray that the kids do not inherit it. If they do we're in trouble. Good thing most kid's clothes are a little cheaper.

theres a 4 or 5 job right there.i also have clothes addication as well lots of jeans,t's,dress shirts,sweat pants,sweaters short,wife beaters,suits,ties, hats,coats.oh a bunch of work clothes but they are seperate from my cloths i wear

I don't wanna do that cause the extras are seperated from mine. Mine was part of an addition. they're close but I like them in the same room. If I have to get up early and get dressed I can barely make it out of bed let alone to another room. As it is I have stuff in all three bedrooms.

My house is older so no walk in :( I have 3 bedrooms but I don't wanna give one up. One is the dogs' and I just like having the other free. Our house/hut on the beach is gonna need a biiiiiiig closet. Damn, what if the kids inherit the shoe addiction?

I know, bragging about what you have sucks and when you feel like you were helped along the way because of family, although it's fair and you worked your butt off, it makes it worse. I know, trust me. Grr, I'm good at picking fights you know. You can keep the sneakers, but it doesn't make sense to wear them on the beach.

Umm, if we're on the beach it would be kinda weird if it were a problem. You'll have to switch to flip flops. I'll have to go from heels to sandals. Which is fine, I don't discriminate against shoes.
