I would love love bobby flay to have at my bbq!! Not only is he the King of the Grill, he knows exactly what he is talking about. A lot of people may say an awful lot of things about him but he clearly has great passion for food- and I do respect that. Plus, I find nothing wrong with a man who's got a healthy ego- as long as he's cookin, am eatin'! And yes I wouldnt mind Mr Oliver Twist on my party too! Now those two combined and I might just go slobber all day- and not towards the food!!

The reason that people like Rachael Ray is because many “foodies” and “culinary experts” are snobby, arrogant and pretentious, and she is not. I used to work in a four star resturant, and the chef was a horrible person. I am not saying Bobby Flay isn't a nice person. I don't know him, but keep in mind, Rachael never claimed to be a “chef.” She’s a cook. She makes food real people can actually prepare, without having to take a second mortgage out on your home to finance the ingredients. Some of these other food network stars go so overboard. Yeah, it shows they can cook, but I already know that. I want to watch someone whose food I can actually make at home. I haven’t met her, but my husband and I have met several celebrity chefs. Paula Deen is awesome (she too is a cook, not a chef). Cat Cora is very nice. But one famous male celebrity chef, who will go unnamed and that I really love, turned out to be disappointing. When he does book signings, if anyone pulls out a camera, he will leave. He demands special water and snacks. I think people like Rachael Ray because she's more like someone who you would go shopping with.

i think they tried to give rr a make over, i noticed her hair was darker and her eyebrows were done on 1 of her new commercials, the color looks way too dark on her .makes her look hard. needs highlights to soften it up a bit, cause the dark color does make her look older.

How about someone better-anyone. I do like Paula and Ina-much more entertaining.

Really not sure why so many people hate on Rachael so much. She has a great personality and is very entertaining. She makes cooking fun. So what if she is not a chef. There are plenty of poeple that "fell" into fame in this world. And??? Good for her. If I could switch places from my 9 to 5 job and do what she does I would. And so would a lot of you haters. Rachel Ray is SOOOOOOOOO A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G! UGH! I can't stand her voice...it sounds like she smokes 3 packs a day! I don't know which is worse...her or Giada DeLaurentis with that Stepford Wives smile plastered on her face all the time. But, I guess that's why we have a remote...we can always change the channel! Rachael Ray (gawd, even her name makes me gag) is THE one and only thing on the face of this earth that can completely, utterly, and undeniably turn me off food forever.....and I LOVE food! How the hell did this sham of a culinary spokesperson ever become not only popular but famous too? I know a slew of professional chefs and talented cooks (yes, authentic foodies, not Rachael Ray phonies) and they think she is just the biggest joke going. Her name is not even allowed to be mentioned in their presence because the whole concept of her and her so-called culinary talents is so offensive to actual culinary professionals. Do you "fans" ever even watch her on television? She is a frumpy, unglamorous, middle-aged woman who speed cooks food and presents herself in a manner that is irritating beyond belief. And, this bozo still uses the word "cool" as an adjective (don't even get me started on "yummo"). And EVOO - wow, how original, wonder how long it took plain jane to think that one up. I know many people who speed cook food much better than her and are far less irritating and annoying. What is the Food Network thinking of sometimes? So basically, US wants to know who people would rather have prepare food for them? A recognized, well-educated, GENUINE, creative and talented culinary professional like Chef Flay or an annoying wanna-be, frumpy, dumpy, "yukko" phony like Ray? Puhleez people, the choice is obvious!

Who cares?!! I don't want either one of these people at my house. Geez, what a stupid question. How about Christian Bale in nothing but a loin cloth making me breakfast? I'll take him bbq-ing by the pool.
