Mark your calendars! Robin Roberts has announced the official date she'll return to Good Morning America: Wednesday, Feb. 20.

The 52-year-old anchor's chosen start date is five months to the day after she underwent a bone marrow transplant to treat the rare blood disorder, myelodysplastic syndrome.

Roberts, who is also a breast cancer survivor, said she began feeling symptoms of her illness a year ago.

"What a difference a year makes," she said in a statement Thursday, Feb. 7. "I cannot wait to return to my GMA family. It's going to be an incredible morning in Times Square. The overwhelming thoughts and prayers of the viewers have played a major part in getting me here today. I cannot thank everyone enough."

As part of her recovery process, Roberts had been making recent dry-run appearances in the studio without being on camera. "Robin will be back on an abbreviated schedule," weather man Sam Champion explained, "but eventually we'll get her five days a week."
