Imagine for a moment that these actions were played out by an individual that wasn't Paris Hilton. Other than perhaps friends or family members, would anyone else really care about this individual that isn't Paris Hilton? Perhaps someone should come out with T-shirts that state "Free ____". Just fill in the name of the individual that broke the law. Fortunately or unfortunaltely, ignorance of the law, at least as I remember, is not an excuse.

Check out information online about the site that she will be at for 45 days. It appears as if many individuals there have serious problems, drug related, other addictions, etc. There are many venues at this site that attempt to educate and reform them. Perhaps, it would be worthwhile for Paris to look into these programs while she is there and realize that there are individuals that really need some help. Perhaps a nice donation to these causes would be the least that Paris could offer after seeing what others are trying to deal with in their lives. More than paying her just or unjust dues, she fortunately has the funds that would be able to improve the lives of so many that are less fortunate. She should invest this time...really not that long...to make a difference in the lives of others. If nothing else, she might start to gain the respect of others.

She is the biggest dodo and biggest snob this side of the Atlantic. I would have committed suicide if I were her parents. But the media is equally to be blamed. No one becomes a celebrity if the media doesnt constantly cover them. If the media stopped covering her daily life, she wouldnt be a celebrity and might actually be flipping burgers at Burger King. I agree with most of you, Paris should get some sort of punishment for disobeying the law. However, for all of you calling her stupid for driving while under the influence, I want you to consciencely admit you've never done it. I bet the majority of you have!!!

I think it's about time that Paris had consequences for her actions. However, I don't think it's fair that she gets "special" treatment in jail e.i. being separated from the other inmates. That would never happen to a normal person and therefore she should not get that favor. I know that they are doing it for her protection, but some people (Paris) should get there bleep kicked to humble them and teach them some respect. Just cause you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, doesn't mean it shouldn't be shoved up your ass.
