Actress Jasmine Guy, best known for playing Whitley on A Different World, has filed for divorce.
She was married to Terrence Mitchell Duckette for nearly 10 years and they have a 9-year-old daughter, Imani.
In her divorce filing, Guy, 45, claims rights to her wedding ring, five paintings and full ownership in one production company plus half of another.
"Jasmine would like to say that there is no villain in this scenario and that she is ending her marriage due to irreconcilable differences," her rep told TMZ.com.

Her face looks painted on - check out the eyebrows. Could be bad lighting, could be botched plastic surgery, or could just be bad make up job. The years haven't been kind.

Not all light skinned blacks have wrinkles, people. I'm a year younger than Ms. Guy and I look absoutely NOTHING like her. In fact, people often mistake me for my late 20's.

unforunately for Jasmine, she is a light-skinned black and they age just like whites...they look old before their time ! she didn't let herself go she simply had no choice in the matter . why do you think we (whites) spend so much time and money trying to retain our looks!!?

Jasmine Guy was NEVER a good looking woman in her 20's. Now that she is in her 40's (nearing 50), she doesn't look good now. The only difference is that she was younger. Many YOUNG people now are JUST YOUNG...THEY ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL. So, before you talk about who does and doesn't look good, look long AND hard at your own face and body. As time marches on, one day you will look up to be facing your own ugly mug.

oh wow she looks so old. I always wondered what happened to her. I cannot believe she allowed herself to look like a train wreck, I know that seems shallow, but she was always such a beautiful woman and now she looks like she the walking dead
