The only thing that i saw on jay leno show and thought it was funny was the newspaper clippings that got fudged up. he is lame. LAME! Conan O'Brien is the best, he can make make anything funny AnyThing! All you old f**ks out there need to shut up, watch it or don't, JUST SHUT UP! it's time for the young bucks to take over. Stop livin in the past! lamers!

You people disgust me. If you can't see the comedic genius in conan, something is wrong with you. People get so fixed on one thing that anything new will seem less than it really is. get used to change people... Conan is above or equal to Jay Leno, give him some respect!

Conan is silly and intelligent and funny...grew up on the Harvard Lampoon...hurry back, Conan...I need my fix. If you are hooked on Carson and Leno, then I would say you are old school. Progress, my babies, progress!!!

I really like Jay and have watched him even more than letterman. I have never really cared to watch Conan mainly because I think he acts silly and is not funny. I will watch Jay at 10:00 and thats even better for me.

I can't believe Conan is still on the air--Everyone I talk to say he's the most unfunny talk show host ever. I'll be surprised if he makes it more than a year in the new time slot. Craig Ferguson is the only Real late night comic on TV.

When Jay leaves NBC next May this will be my last late night for me, I WON'T WATCH "CONAN THE DORK"..

The fact that Conan came on at O-Dark Thirty in Cali is the reason that a lot of Cali pukes can't feel the dude. O'Brien is a real comedic talent. If you had been watching the dude from the show's inception (instead of going to bed with the chickens and nursing home residents) you would see this. Leno is a dolt with mediocre writers and skits. This equates to mediocre comedic entertainment for normal everyday heathens done in a simplistic and uncreative way. The norm will always love dummies and average savages, because they see themselves reflected in those images.

Jay Leno has always sucked. His standup is sophomoric, and his vibe is suited for geriatric patients. Yet it has never surprised me that he has the most viewers in the late night genre. Young Americans can't remember how good Johnny Carson was, and how cutting edge Letterman was. The reason Leno gets ratings is because of nostalgia and time slot. Humans are so reliant on nostalgia to dictate their sensibilities.

Leno was/is lucky that the Carson wave has lasted this long. The thing is people are so stupid that regardless of how wack or passe someone is, familiarity and security mean more than substance and depth. Letterman was the template for modern late night TV and Conan is the result. Leno has always sucked but the Hollywood machine pushed him like heroin for decades now. He has NEVER been as good as Letterman, and can't hold a candle to a genius like Conan! Get it straight!

I am a die-hard Leno fan but Conan is one of the worst of the late night options. If NBC had any sense, they would have offered Craig Ferguson whatever it took to replace Jay. It sounds like a lot of people like me will be leaving NBC and have no choice but to now watch Letterman instead of Conan while we wait for Ferguson to come on.

Jay, Conan, and every late night show host make terrible interviewers. Their standup material is so whitewashed as to be insulting to anyone wishing to hear decent comedy.
Being out here in the left coast, the talk shows start at 11:30pm anyway, so I don't even watch hardly anymore.
Bob Costas and Greg Kinnear were the last decent talk show hosts. They should take over Late Show and Tonight Show respectively. Dump those other losers!

I cannot stand Conan..he reminds me of a leprechan. He's not funny and I will not watch him ever. He's dorkier than dork. Jay Leno is my comedian of choice. I have always stayed up to watch him, but I will trade Conan in for a good book. Conan's silly,idiotic juvenile, goofy,and stupid catering to infantile minds. I love Jay Leno and his form of comedy, like I love Sinatra, Bennett, Damone,, etc. By the way what happened to that other "Craig" (Claybourn I think) that followed Jay before all this Conan crap hit the fan? I thought he was funny and pretty good. Well, The Tonight Show will not be on my TV ever again. Jay, as Gleason would say, "you're the greatest!" LOVE YA!!! Pisane.

I agree! Once Leno is off the Tonight Show it's Craig Ferguson for me. Conan just isn't funny, while Ferguson has you grinning and laughing the whole time he's on.

I have been watching the tonight show for 50 years and although
Jay Leno is a hard working good comedian, the level of his
comedy is at the beer parlor or the locker room.
The only genuine multi talented comedian on TV today is; Craig Ferguson.
As to Conan, just not funny, no matter how much he is trying.
Letterman is the one who should retire. Now he is behaving at times like
a dirty old man. Other times he is pretty repetitive and boring.
Perhaps not nearly as bad as Conan.

I am glad to see so many people agree with me. Of course it was foolish, ridiculous, and unwarranted for NBC to fire Jay.
There must be some political intrigue behind this move as it clearly doesn't make sense. Jay is young, healthy, and at the top of his game

I switched to Jay when I got bored with Letterman's repetitious show and Jay has a longer and better monologue, which I really enjoy.

I agree that Conan is NOT FUNNY and Fallon never even made me smile once on SNL
