Get it straight: JC Chasez and Chace Crawford aren't dating.

The former NSYNC singer, 31, debunked Internet rumors linking him to the Gossip Girl hottie, 22, on Kiss-FM 104.7 on Wednesday.

“For the record, we’re both straight,” Chasez declared. "We're not dating."

Chasez — who called Crawford a "super nice guy" — said he understands why people may think they're an item.

"The only time people usually see us together is in some type of photograph, so they just assume that it’s like that," he said.

"If I’m dating a girl and I’m standing next to another girl, I’m having an affair," Chasez went on.

"So now, since there hasn’t been any of that smoke out there, if I’m hanging out with a guy, they’re going to make up a rumor.

"It’s just stupid.”

JC is not gay!! I don't think Lance ever openly said he was stright before he came out, he just kind of ignored the question, same with Clay Aiken. Jc is an honest person, and he said he was straight. It ticks me off that people just assume things, I read an article also of info from all their family members and both said them having a gay relationship was absolutely false. Why can't famous dudes just be friends without being labeled like that. Even if JC is we shouldn't judge him because he's a really nice guy, and man he can sing, I just think it might be what he wears or what his stylist gives him to wear that maybe can be assumed. But he's gone out with women before and everything. I think they should quit bringing this up because it's freakin stupid!!! Who cares!! I love you JC!

Where there is smoke there is fire I say: There have been rumors for years about JC- now he is seen at every big "gay" event that has taken place in the last six months with this beautiful young actor: South Beach New Years, New York Fashion Week, Elton's Aids Party, Poolside at the Hollywood Roosevelt- I just assumed they were an item and proud of it-no big deal- As it should be. I wish people would stop making it such a big deal so all the young gay boys struggling to come out and feeling suicidal in some cases would have an easier time of it- it's 2008 for Gods sake!

Apparently its been reported over here today that in the next week one of your US Mags is going to out an A-Lister actor, who has apparently been see going out with women and most recently with men. Personally who gives a damn whether someone falls in love with a member of the opposite sex or same sex as long as they dont go through life without loving someone! Also, personally speaking whoever the actor turns out to be although he's a celeb and all i think it's kinda wrong that the magazine is outing him (unless he is outing himself in the magazine in whcih case thats ace!)
