In November 2004, the world’s most famous adult film actress, Jenna Jameson, went to the dermatologist to treat some veins on her back, and was shocked when the doctor discovered a misshapen mole that turned out to be malignant melanoma.
Then, before Jameson could go into surgery, a blood test revealed that she was two months pregnant. But her joy soon turned to sadness. The day after she received the happy news, the porn star miscarried, probably due to the stress of the cancer.
The following month, Jameson had the mole excised and has been 100 percent cancer-free ever since. In an exclusive interview, the 33-year-old devout Catholic (and author of How to Make Love Like a Porn Star) tells Us Weekly that she’s made peace with her heartbreak.
“If the pregnancy would have lasted, I wouldn’t have had the surgery,” she says. “So it was all in God’s plan.”

Well, here is the thing. What she is doing is no doubt sinful...but guess what...I have watched her movies and other porn and enjoyed it, so what does that make me? And I am ill-tempered and arrogant at times, and I have a host of other faults.
I am a Catholic, too. In one version of the mass, the priest says, "Save us from final damnation...do not consider what we truly deserve, but grant us your pardon and forgiveness, through Christ our Lord." Jesus told us to forgive our neighbor seventy times seven. He didn't quicky add..."but only if he is truly sorry, and resolves never to do it again, and only if he makes restitution." Do you think he would encourage us to be so forgiving, if God himself were not at least as forgiving. Yet many of these Christians speak as if if he wants nothing more than to just lie in wait until he has a chance to smite the sinner.
Many of these literalists claim that every word of the Bible is true. Yet they somehow get around the phrase where Jesus says, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Or when he said, "The harlots, tax-collectors, and publicans go into the kingdom of God before you hypocrites." Anyone who is so presumptuous as to think they can be sure of someone else's eternal destiny would do well to focus on themselves.
This in no way means you have to approve of the way she earns her living, but when it comes to anyone's ultimate destiny, I think it best to leave it up to God.

It's heartbreaking to read some of these comments- full of judgment and sinners pointing their fingers at other sinners, and a total misunderstanding of Jesus' message. Why can't she be a devout Catholic? Being a Christian does not mean you are perfect in any way or sinless. You are still a sinner like the rest, but believing in Jesus as the son of God who died for your sins, you are saved by the grace of God! I wouldn't make any assumptions about her or her faith. None of us are in a place to judge.

5. Love does no ill to its neighbor. Therefore, love will not slander it's neighbor. Do do so is far worse than taking your clothes off in front of a camera.
6. Love does seek ways to benefit your neighbor.
7. Love covers a multitude of sins, instead of exposing them.
The one law we need to obey is love. .

All I can say, Jenna. You should repent and you should see light again. It's hard to put it lightly but I must say it. God loves the sinner but not the sin. You're going to hell if you do not repent. Please repent. There is still time. Read Job in the bible. He went through so many things sort of like the stuff you're going through. There was a big difference though he walked in God's footsteps and there was absolutely nothing wrong with this guy in terms of his integrity. Yet, God took everything from him. He gave Job everything back after Job proved himself. In fact, God gave Job more than what he took and blessed him more than you could ever imagine. He can bless you the same way and give you more than what you have right now. He will give you peace and most importantly a decent living. He will give you more than what you own. He did so many miracles in the Bible. He has not changed. He is the same God and he loves you so much. Don't let Him cry over you, He wants you to change your ways. God Bless You Jenna I wish you the best. There is no greater man on earth than Him who sacrificed his life for you.

To say that it is cliche that Jenna said, "it is all in God's plan" is ignorant. How are you to say that it wasn't in God's plan for her to fall into pornography? We can not judge her b/c of what she does. That does not make her NOT a catholic. We all sin...and the real hypocrites are those who decide to ignore their own sins and judge the sins of others. There is no sin less or more worse than the other. In God's eyes, they are all sins. They are all wrong. It is easy to judge someone else because of what they do..but it is not your place to judge others nor to point fingers. How do you think that she became so famous...b/c people watch her, buy her merchandise. But it is so easy to point your finger at her when the people watching it are no better. I watch porn, I know it's a sin. People steal, say God's name in vein, Kill, and covet...STILL knowing it is a sin. They're all wrong and that doesn't make her less of a christian b/c she fell down that path.
Who's to say that she's a bad person? Right now she's going through a lot of losses and heartbreak. Can't you focus your attention to that instead of the negative? All of you who claim to be catholic obviously don't understand what it means to be a christian. You pray for those who have lost their way. Not talk bleep.
