Jennie is a fantastic actress, very attractive woman and a great person.She was very close with her dad and I am sure she going through a very bad tine. I lost my dad a while back and did something I never thought I would do. Watching Jennie act in her shows and made for TV movies was a welcome distraction from missing dad. I was checking out her web site and found a mailing address for fan mail. The letter I sent requested nothing other than telling her how much I appreciated her talent and who she was. Had no reason to believe she would ever see the letter, was shocked to recieve back a response. She is an amazing woman and I can only hope she is getting the support she needs at this time. My condolences to her and her family. I will watch whatever she decides to do. She is extremely versatile and can play any part she wants. Best of luck to her going forward.

Jen, I totally agree and actually thought about that too. I was wondering if they just didn't want Tori back or something because she has been VERY vocal about her desire to return. I wonder why they wouldn't want her back unless it had something to do with the David character. Didn't they get married? I doubt Brian Austin Green would come back so they'd have to figure that one out.

But, didn't Kelly and Donna have a store together for a while? I don't remember what Kelly's role was though. So, I guess it would kinda make sense, but it is a stretch....

I love Jennie and was actually looking forward to her new sitcom. I would definitely check out the new 90210. I have to say though, that Tori Spelling seemed interested in joining the cast and it was her Donna character that was a fashion designer ont he original show. It seems like Jennie's teacher role would be better suited for Tori, with Jennie in another role.

In theory, it actually sounds like a good idea...IF the show works and catches an audience. I LOVED the old 90210 (1990-1996ish) I kinda tuned in here and there after '96 but never really latched on.

I would definitley watch the spin off though, at least to give it a try. I was a teen back in those early days of 90210 and it brings back good memories for me.

Wow, she must really LOVE the character of Kelly Taylor as she can't seem to let "her" go. She played "her" for so many years that I'm sure it would be difficult to watch someone else step in, however, I do agree that for the sake of her career, I hope this show works. Script must be gooood.

I agree that it would be a bad decision. The gal who played Valerie was smart in saying she wouldn't do it. She should take her lead. 90210 had a good run and it is good to let it stay in the past. I agree that it would hamper any other career opportunities that she may have in the future, considering she is really only well known for being Kelly Taylor. I like her and would love it if she showed other things she could do.
