Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston is preparing to take her Emmy-winning neurosis back to the small-screen.

Aniston, 37, will be joining best friend and former costar, Courteney Cox, 42, on the season finale of Cox's new FX series, Dirt.

Aniston is set to play a rival tabloid editor to Cox's Lucy Spiller, the scheming hard-as-nails editor-in-chief of the fictional tabloid, DirtNow.

Cox hinted last week in an interview with Extra TV that a BFF cameo was already a done deal.

"We talk about it all the time," Cox said. "What kind of character she should play, should she play herself or should we write some great thing for her -- she'll come on for sure!"

This is Aniston's first foray back into television since Friends went off the air in 2004. You can catch the season finale of Dirt On FX on March 27th.

Aniston is not an actress, she is an entertainer~and not so good at it. Jodie Foster on the other hand is a proven acress, as well as humble and carries herself well, without having to get naked and make moronic statements to get attention. No matter what kind of work one does, those who strive to do better and be more effective and visibly improve their performance have a notably stronger base than their peers. Many female actresses have those qualities, Aniston is certainly not one of them. She can stand in front of a camera, that is apparent, but she CANNOT act.

Can any of us go through what she came through and still come out looking as undiva-like as she has? Being stalked at every corner, trashed in the tabloids, etc. She has come out strong and has kept a lot of things to herself. More power to her! She still looks as sweet and adorable as the Friends days. Love the see her and court together. When does it air???

I think Jen and Courtney are gorgeous. They are the best friends and I think they are really good people. I totally agree that Brad is a stupid person and I think that sooner or later he´ll regret his decission. But after all I think Jen deserves someone much better than cheater Brad. He´s better with the pretend - to - be - a - good - person Angelina. She´s adopting childs all around the world but she hurt someone around her ( Jen marriage). Jen the Best

I'll watch because I like Courtney Cox. Jennifer Anniston was part of an esemble that worked well together. On their own none of them are that good. After awhile the "Rachel schtick" gets old and you can see it in all of her movies. As far as Angelina is concerned, Jennifer took the high road and moved on. Why don't you naysayers do the same! Angelina is a good person and a good mother. I think she and Brad will be together for a long time. I wish them many years of happiness. They will make a difference in the world we live in. We should all applaud that!

i think she should stay with TV; she's much better off there. some actresses can't go from TV to movies, and many actresses who have made it on the 'big screen' actually don't pull off television well at all. she fopund success on the small screen and she should stay there...she'll be more successful and have more career satisfaction.,
