 Ramey Photo Ladies of New York: You've got competition! Sources tell Us Weekly that Jennifer Aniston, 38, wants to move to Manhattan for better dating prospects. "Jennifer is dying to move to New York City," an Aniston pal tells Us. "She thinks she can meet smart and cultured guys in New York," says another source close to the actress, who hasn't been linked with anyone since her official December 5 split with Vince Vaughn. Moving now wouldn't be a bad idea for Aniston, who, a source says, "is over Hollywood and the whole scene." L.A. psychologist Dr. Yvonne Thomas says that fleeing after the dissolution of her marriage to Pitt in January 2005 would have been problematic: "Rather than an impulsive decision, this shows that she's really thought things through." Vince Vaughn is extraordinarily intelligent, besides being incredibly funny. While Brad too is funny, the jury is definitely out on his intelligence. He looks good though. The thing about "beautiful people" is that they don't have to work very hard at achieving in life. Jennifer Aniston, although pretty, has CREATED herself to be a beautiful human being - inside (where it matters most) and outside - a serious accomplishment. Genetics are luck, physical beauty fades, character is what wins out. Jennifer Aniston is living very well.

Jennifer Aniston is a professional Actress and the reason that she would choose to live in either LA or NYC (or Toronto, Vancouver, or Miami) is because THAT is where the majority of film and television production exists. It is important to live close to the business interaction of the industry. Only very BIG Stars (or Stars with less ambition) can live "wherever" and not have it diminish their careers. I think Jennifer Aniston wants to have a serious acting career and needs to be where the action is...she should stay in LA.

I don't think Jen is moving to NYC. She is probably going to work in some proyect there and then come back. She just bought a 15M house in LA. This moving doesn't make sense. Everybody knows that actors are almost never stable in one place they move around depending on their proyects. As far as looking for a man there is not one type of man per country. People saying that man in New York are smarter are definitely idiots. Ther are smart guys and dumb guys in NYC as in every other state or country. She can find any man she wants, she doesn't need to move to another state to do that.

A litte update...Jennifer Aniston IS a New Yorker. She was born and raised in NYC. Although, as a New Yorker myself, I agree she has gone pretty "Hollywood." Life is far more real and intense in NYC, but I guess she knows that. I think the work opportunities would be far greater for her in LA though. Also, at this point, I bet Brad Pitt would LOVE to have Jennifer Aniston back. You know, somehow that wouldn't surprise me, nor Angelina, I imagine. Whatever the issues between Brad and Jennifer, I have no doubt they pale in comparison to the "challenges" Brad is living now. I respect Jennifer ENORMOUSLY for the grace, class, and courage she has shown in handling the cards life dealt her so publicly. Truly an inspiration and I think we could all learn something from her.

I am not sure that this news is accurate, but if Jennifer moves to New York, I will be very happy since I go to New York at least twice a year to visit my family. I will love to see her!!! And to anon 1:45 You are wrong about people in New York not liking her. I know a lot of people in New York that are big fans of her and her show. And another thing Jen is very pretty and smart and she can get any man. Also Vince Vaughn might not be so hot, but he is 100 times better than Pitt. At least Vince respects her. I am also sure she will never take Brad Pitt back, he is a looser!!!! He an Jolie deserve each other.

I've recently seen some of your work both pre and post personal crisis, and it seems to me that your acting was more natural, comfortable, and confident even, before all the drama. I realize that is to be expected, but I also know it's something you can leave behind. It seems your self-consciousness is in your way. Dump it. You've got a HUGE fan base, everyone knows the truth, everyone supports you, enjoys you, and wants you to succeed and BE YOURSELF. You are free to show the world who you are - have fun with it.
