EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Alba's Brother: Honor "Is Very Beautiful"

 Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic  Jessica Alba's brother Josh couldn't be happier about his new niece Honor Marie. "I'm ecstatic!" Josh, 25, told Usmagazine.com by phone Monday, two days after his star sis, 26, delivered in L.A. "I have seen her, and she is very beautiful." So does Honor look more like mom or dad Cash Warren? "I can never tell with newborns," Josh said. "There are not really any features. I can't tell yet." He said his big sister "is doing great." He added that Warren "is one of the happiest men alive right now." Asked if they'll make good parents, Josh told Us, "absolutely." Alba's father Mark told Latina.com that Honor has "Jessica's complexion, her hair [and] her eyes." "She looks like Jessica when she was a baby," Mark said. "[I] thought Jessica was the prettiest baby I had ever seen, but I was wrong." Alba and Warren tied the knot in a surprise ceremony at the Beverly Hills courthouse on May 19. I don't like the name Honor. I'm sure they thought they were "honoring" her with this name, but this kid has to live with that name forever. Think about the introductions! "Hi, I'm Honor." It sounds like you're trying to say "I'm honored," as in honored to meet you. And she could definitely get made fun of... Honor... ON HER. I just think the name is way too over the top.

Why is everyone so opinionated? It's their baby, so they can name it what they want to. It doesn't affect you, so why are you so angry? Thankfully, most celebs would never read boards like this--at least healthy ones who don't want to be brought down by moralists and fashionistas. So really, this is a moot point anyway. Is anyone here aware that there are real issues in the world? That people are dying in our war? That the government of Burma is oppressing it's people--along with so many other governments? I think there is more to do than worry about the happiest day of a couple's life.

To 1:48 PM Anonymous: You can teach your child many things, but we are human, and children will not always obey or understand. I think it's human nature to tease, and kids just say it where as adults sometimes try to hide it (or not, look at the comments on here). So, if you name your child something weird, it's prob inevitable they will get teased... unfortunately, we are not in a perfect world, and no one is a perfect mother (even tho you seem to think you are/will be). I think Mom of 4 is more realistic and practical. And naming their daugther Honor is not that surprising, I mean, her dad's name is Cash... enough said.

Hope she doesn't EVER do anything dishonorable. People will be throwing her name back at her. Of course disowning your heritage like y our mother did, isn't dishonorable at all. Ok, I slapped myself on the hand for bringing it up, but Alba has issues with the heritage thing. I'm glad the baby is healthy though.

3:09 - Your children's names are lovely, but you're kidding yourself if you think they're not fashionable... every other boy born these days is named Jack (or a close variation like Jacob, Jake, John, etc.) and Sarah will always be classic but Olivia is definitely on the trend list. I just find it funny how every parent inevitably thinks they have these original (or at least non-trendy) names and they are all so common....

Hello, yes I hate the name Honor but it is really the parents choice. Although you have to remember that these kids do have to go through life with these wiard names. Why can't celebrities just be like everyday people and just give your children regular names. Why should the child suffer for this. Imagine poor Apple Martin, how she will be tormented at school. Another is Julia Roberts kids, Hazel and Phineas for a boy. Imagine a poor boy going to school with the name Phinaeus, that is CRUEL.
