Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now) that Jessica Simpson is calling Tony Romo her "future husband."
Now, she tells the June issue of Glamour, that she is "in love" with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, whom she says helped her gain more confidence.
She says she even wrote him a song, "Back in My Old Boots."
"He reintroduced me to myself," Simpson says. "I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date.
"Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again," she adds. (See her lick cake off Romo's face here.)
She dismisses critics who claimed she jinxed his career by showing up at one of his football games that he lost last year.
"Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous," she says. "I don't understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No."
She says Romo first caught her eye while she was going through her divorce with Nick Lachey.
"My family and I were watching a Cowboys game ... and — Tony would die if I told you this — but [on TV there was a story] about him," she says. "They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson.
"My family was like, 'Did you just hear that?'" she goes on. "His picture came up, and I'm like, 'He's really cute.' Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh!'"
They met a year-and-a-half later after a pal introduced Tony to her dad, Joe Simpson.
After Tony spotted Jessica and Joe at the Country Music Awards last November, "Tony e-mailed my dad, 'Cute date,'" Simpson reveals.
"My dad was like, 'Look what Tony said,' Simpson says. "I said, 'Give him my e-mail address. We'll see if he's good with words.' Then he e-mailed me, and we flirted over e-mail and on the phone."

On their first date, Simpson admits, "I had butterflies that you would not imagine. I wanted to puke in the cup holder ... It took me forever to put together an outfit!"
He tried to kiss her on their first date. "I was taken aback....
"The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, 'This is my girl, and I want to kiss her' -- our first kiss in front of everybody -- was awesome," she says.
She also hints about her split with Nick Lachey, saying, "There's too much competition [being with a musician]. There's too much know-it-all pop star."

1)of course she will appreciate him as long as she keeps getting media coverage for it.
2)she is pathetic and truly has no talent.
3)I'm glad to see Romo has his priorities straight, F_ck Dallas and the month of December (which every true cowboy fan knows is the most important month for us) let's focus on having that emotional drain Jessica feel happy w/herself!!!!

Wait...you can't assume a guy is only in it for sex just because he kisses a girl on their first date. I know there ARE guys who are like that but NOT everyone. Let's see what Tony has done for Jessica so far:
1) He invited her FAMILY, including her grandparents, to watch the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day.
2) When Jessica was innocently blamed in the media for distracting Tony at the Eagles game, what did he do? He scolded the media for their "poor journalistic integrity".
3) When Jessica was blamed again for the Mexico trip, what did Tony say? He said he stood by his decision to go there and he didn't care what people want to wrongly perceived about him cos he didn't want to be fake.
4) When OK! magazine wrote a false article about him dumping Jessica, what did Tony do? He sang to Jessica on the stage at Metal Skool concert, putting his arms around her.
5) He dislikes the paparazzi and their constant camera flashes but he still travelled all the way to LA to meet Jessica.
These are just a few of what Tony has done for her. So if you say Tony is just in it for sex, you're wrong. He kissed her because he liked her a lot from the start. He showed that he wasn't embarrassed to be with her! He was a fan of Jessica long before he got to be her boyfriend. I know this because I have read his interviews since a long time ago. I also know there are many women who are crazy over Tony and they are jealous of Jessica. So, I will only call her stupid if she doesn't know how to appreciate Tony after what he has done for her!!

I just threw up in my mouth. I just realized that the latest figure has a pic of Yoko and Romo in the inset. She just keeps proving again and again how incredibly stupid she is. Doesn't she get it? People don't like her, and people are sick of her getting publicity w/no merit for it. The best thing she could do is disappear for a while instead of pimping Romo out like a John w/his hooker.

The question was "Who do you like Jessica better with: Nick or Tony?'& somehow everyone is talking about how she can't sing or act, how dumb she is, or about how she broke things off with Nick. Chances are you don't know her, so how can you say she did Nick worng? Her and Nick were not meant to be together obviously, if they were, they would still be together. The only reason everyone belittles Jessica is they are jealous. Jealous of the fact she is pretty, famous, talented, and date the hottest quarter back in the NFL.
Therefore, my response to the question is I think jessica looks ten times prettier and happier with Tony, and I wish them the best.

JS: I wouldn't say that. I think it's ironic that I fell in love with a man I thought I would never be interested in because he's an athlete. I was always, An athlete? Heck no. Excuse me, but that IS an appropriate pose and I stand by my artistic work 100%. Her father was present the whole time and he Suggested and Approved the final digital picture. After my fiasco with that other lying little w***e, who was I to make any waves. Besides, it works real well with the cover story: Ob-gyns tell you what's normal (and not) DOWN THERE. Let's hope Jessica at least does ONE smart thing and reads THAT article, because her story is just a mess. All she did was make alot of people rethink Tony's honesty and chivalry towards women in general. Perhaps he, too, changes with the people he's dating. So you think she looks like a tranny??
