She made her body an issue not her work, that’s the other edge of the sword. I think this will end her career as the hot 20 something. Sorry, I wasn't explicit in my meaning and intention. I meant to say that many people of several ages(times) could look on Mary with as much judgement and scorn as many seem quick to heap on these celebrities.

That Mary was pregnant by divine intervention is only one religious view which can be hotly contested (and often is)by many around the world, including by the Jews, Jesus' own people. Joseph agonized over the question of what he should do about what appeared to be Mary's infidelity until he had the dream telling him the child was of God and was deciding to put her away instead of exposing her to stoning (the most likely punishment if she was exposed to be with child not of her bethrothed or husband.)

Thus I was really trying to say that given that and other arguments that time and space will not permit(eg. Mary Magdalene, Jesus being condemned for consorting with sinners and criminals), none of us should be quick to make any decisions or to cast aspersions on anyone for their choices of marriage or order with pregnancy, especially those of us who are christian and who believe Jesus came "not for the well but to heal the sick".

Sorry I was unclear before, and hope I have exonerated myself now. I would just like human beings to be supportive, loving, compassionate and forgiving, not judgemental and condemnatory. Yes, I realize that I am being hopelessly optimistic, but the voices clamouring for judgement and the right to attack others, always seem louder, and I worry about those who read the comments of other ordinary people and find kindness and compassion to be lacking.

She's pretty & seems like such a nice person...if getting pregnant was how she planned on tying this guy down...why bother? Its not like she can't get any other guy. I hope they're seriously marrying for the right reasons otherwise that kid of their's is going to be in for a rollercoaster ride, right out of the womb...

It breaks my heart to hear the judgements on this pregnancy. I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and have been unable. No woman can become pregnant simply by choice. I think it is ridiculous that anyone would assume that Jessica "got pregnant" just to keep her boyfriend. The fact that they broke up and then got back together shows that they had made some level of commitment to one another. It is easier to move on to the next person rather than return to the one you left. I am sure they have worked things out and a baby will only bring them closer to each other. Being responsible for a human life is what can only be described as a miracle.

One can't make someone stay because they are pregnant. Case in point Bridgett & Tom. This isn't 1959 where there were shotgun weddings galore. Also just because one gets married & then pregnant does not mean the marriage will survive. Look at the divorce rate & then look at the Hollyweird divorce rate.

Soni, Mary didn't have sex to get pregnant. she was a 14 year old innocent child. You cannot compare that situation with what's going on in other circumstances, try as you might, it's not the same thing. Another thing, no one forced Joseph into that marriage. God doesn't force anyone to do anything against their will. He chose to go ahead and marry her. at that time and in that culture, she had been promised to him as his wife for quite a few years, and essentially, they were married, though they had not yet physically been together. Yes, I realize you were trying to be a smart aleck, but you ended up looking quite ridiculous.

Seriously, I am pregnant right now with my 3rd child and even six months in my skin is still a mess. And normally, it is not this bad. Bad breakouts have happened to me with every pregnancy, so give the girl a break!!!!!!!!
