I just glanced at this article and its comments, and I'll just say that I feel bad because I thought they were a great couple, even though I'm not necessarily a big fan of either of their careers. To all the rest of you who have nothing intelligent or positive to say, you've simply exposed the true ugliness here- and it is you. As was said in the late, great Pogo comic strip- "We have met the enemy and he is us."

This chick is NOT funny. Her voice is annoying, she has zero talent and I have no idea why she is on TV at all. He is only marginally funny. They have to make vulgar jokes to avert people's attention from how UNfunny they are. Their breakup is not "shocking" or "heartbreaking" to anyone but lowlife howard stern.

Yawn. Who cares what Stern, Kimmellmen, or Silverman think or even do? They are culturally and intellectually irrelevant people who aren't smart enough to create real comedy and rely on vulgarity instead. While Kimmelman's show is sometimes funny (and his show is among the least-viewed), Silverman is especially unfunny and profane. Together, they seemed to fit only because their vulgarity was doubled.

Aw, I feel bad that Howard Stern was upset after hearing that Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman split up, and that he was supposed to take a vacation with them sometime this week, etc.! Also, I feel bad that Jimmy Kimmel said he lost his best friend after he and Sarah Silverman broke up, etc.

Now at least he doesn't have to pretend she's funny! THat must be a relief...
