Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards — who attracted the likes of Desperate Housewives’ James Denton, John Mayer and Lance Armstrong — is expected to drop out of the race this afternoon.
Edwards, 54, will announce his withdrawal at a Habitat for Humanity site in New Orleans at 1 p.m., a senior Edwards adviser told ABC News this morning.
“It became clear that [getting elected] wasn’t going to happen,” the adviser said.
Edwards, a one-time running mate of John Kerry in the 2004 election, came in a distant third place at last night’s Florida primary election against Senators Hillary Clinton and celeb fave Barack Obama.
No word on who he will endorse for president.

Would you feel the same way if a false internet mail about John McCain, Mike Huckabee, or Rudy Guiliani (even though he dropped out of the race)was circling the internet? Or would you choose to believe that? Also 4:35- prove it's false. And try to be a little more educated rather than rolling your eyes and using terms like crap. PLS was not talking out of their a$$.

Hilary Clinton has my vote, she is experienced and has a strong record of supporting worker's rights and civil rights. I also like her stance on healthcare and education. I do also like Obama, however, Clinton has many more years of experience and is well liked in the global community. As foreign policy is key to reconstructing the tarnished image of our nation, that pushes Clinton over the top for me. Brits like her, India and Southeast Asia likes her, South America likes her, even the French like her and they don't like anyone.

The presidential race depends on the Democrats. It doesn't even matter who the Republican candidate is.
If Obama is the Democratic nominee, he will become President.
If Clinton is the Democratic nominee, the Republican candidate will become President.
So if you want a Democratic president, you have to vote Obama. If you want a Republican president, vote Clinton. I don't agree with it, but that that's the way it is.

That passage is NOT from Snopes. If you go to Snopes, it clearly states that everything in that passage isn't true. He's not a Muslim, he wasn't sworn in on the Koran, and there are several pics on there where he DID put his hand on his heart during the playing of the National Anthem. People see the one pic of him NOT doing that, and run with it. And he NEVER refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance. I'm so sick of people repeating this junk someone made up as *fact*. Ugghh!!
