Giving money away in any form is an act based on your own values and morality. Ask your friends and neighbors if they donate and see if their answers change your mind about how you view those people. You will also be surprised to learn that many people with money, even celebrities do donate money anonymously just to avoid the press.

Anyways the fact that he took time and money away from his life to give to his community and neither asking or expecting anything in return says a lot about his character. And the fact that all you (Apple) care about is that he should be donating MORE money never minding the fact that he also treated the doctors to his screening of Sweeny Todd and dressed up as the ever popular Jack Sparrow to read to children at a hospital says a lot about YOUR character.

Johnny Depp is simply AMAZING!I admire his ability to take on characters that others wouldn't dare do and make them his own,I like the fact to that he is not full of himself,he seems so approachable and down to earth and it is cool to see how involved he is with his family. I think it was a very noble thing he did for this hospital and reading stories in costume to the staff and patients like that!Oh yeah,did I forget to mention the obvious?He is SMOKIN HOTT!

It's people like him that makes the world a better place. He has such a good heart, and this makes me love him even more!!! He'll always be my favorite actor. :)

A gentleman to the very core. For any out there who have had a child saved from certain death, giving back to the hospital who gave the care is the absolute best way to say thank you. This guy is talented, heart-stoppingly gorgeous, has a heart of gold & a thorough appreciation for what he has in his life. Vanessa is one lucky girl! Wish I was so lucky!
