My heart goes out to all families, celebrity or not, who are dealing with estrangement. Unfortunately, I know this pain all to well, as my own family is dealing with this tragedy. As I am not privy to all of the personal, intimate details of their lives, I'll choose to refrain from passing judgement on the parents and the adult children.
