What I find more disturbing that anything in Angelina or Brad's life or the circumstances surrounding Angelina's childhood (of which we know little except what has been posted in tabloids and really...who says we can trust everything we read) is that people on this board write as if they know them. Whoever went on and on about how Angelina is living in a psychotic fantasy, using her adopted children to fill the voids left in her own childhood blah blah blah ...I am seriously more concerned for YOUR mental health. When she died, Angelina Jolie's mother was still owed $180,000 in spousal payments from ex-husband Jon Voight, according to her will.

Marcheline Bertrand, 56, lost a battle with ovarian cancer on Jan. 27. An aspiring actress, Bertrand met Voight just after his Oscar nomination for 1969's Midnight Cowboy. They married in 1971, but Bertrand filed for divorce seven years later. They had two children.

Details of Bertrand's will surfaced in a legal filing entered in Los Angeles Superior Court on April 10.

The will also reveals Bertrand was a doting grandmother, having left $100,000 to her "beloved grandson" Maddox. It was updated with a note to "add Zahara and the new little precious one," leaving them $100,000 each.

With her estate worth more than $2 million, Bertrand requested that Jolie and her older brother James be co-executors of her will, with the bulk of her assets going to both children.

Voight wasn't available for comment. A longtime friend of his tells PEOPLE: "Jon paid spousal support to (Marcheline) years ago and was very generous to her. Where that dollar amount came from I have no idea."

Children are not stupid. Eventually they realize on their own without a parent's input the type of person their father is. No one needs to turn a child against a parent. A bad parent is capable of doing that all by himself.

The fact that parents manipulate their children is not in dispute. However a parent does not necessarily need to manipulate a child, where the evidence in front of them is clear. Say for instance, if a child sees a parent being abused, would the abused parent need to manipulate the child or can the child observe for himself.

A probate means all the details are made public. Anyone can obtain all these records.

Many tabloids make it a point to always obtain documents from the court. An example is tmz which always obtain court documents on people divorce and also any documents on the dead. If you go to tmz, you will see they obtain a lot of documents on Anna Nicole Smith.

Why is it a public records? Because the court wants to make sure if anyone wants to contest, they could. That's why it's always a public record.

Jon Voight's ex-wife, and the mother of his children, Marcheline Bertrand, is DECEASED.

The two "children" are now both in their 30's, and one of which is a phenomenally wealthy woman.

The fact that ANYONE is pursuing a supposed former support debt of $180,000 is not only absurd, but obscene, and abusive to all involved. It is obviously a ploy to humiliate Jon Voight with a very one sided, invalid, and post mortem manipulative will inclusion which has now been released to the press.

The statute of limitations makes the debt itself invalid.

I believe that the $180,000 is for back SPOUSAL SUPPORT OWED TO MARCHELINE BY JV. You have to list all the debts owed to the deceased person's estate when you probate their will in court. Marcheline also left $100,000 each to Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh.

So I am usually against Jolie in many things, but in this case I have to side with her. Somebody said that Voight was a good dad. Are you kidding me????? This guy publicly said that his daughter needed help, because she had mental problems. Even if she needed help at the time, he had NO right to say something like that about his daughter. Like someone said before if both James and Angelina are estrange fron their father is because of something he did or maybe because he wasn't there when they needed him. Again Lies weekly, just leave Jolie's mom alone, whatever happened between her and her ex is non of your business. It was a long time ago, and now she is dead.
