Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been cleared of two charges of public drunkenness and breach of the peace after the Irish actor apologized for an outburst last month.

Rhys Meyers, 30, was arrested November 18 for his drunken and erratic behavior after he was denied permission to board a flight to London at Dublin airport.

His attorney told the Associated Press that Rhys Meyers — whose mother, Geraldine, 50, died of a sudden illness November 21 — "unreservedly apologizes" to airport security guards and staff and police.

He also plans to make a donation to an unspecified charity as a way to make up for his wrongdoing, according to the AP.
