Jonathan Rhys Meyers Arrested

 Hal Horowitz/WireImage.com Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers was arrested for public drunkenness and breach of the peace at Dublin Airport in Ireland Sunday. Police confronted Rhys Meyers, 30, twice over his erratic behavior at an airport gate and at a desk of the British airline BMI as he attempted to board a flight to London, the Associated Press reports. Rhys Meyers refused repeated requests to calm down even after Ireland's national police force, the Garda Siochana, was called, the AP reports. He was charged with two counts of violating the Public Order Act. He was released on an undisclosed bail and ordered to appear in Dublin District Court December 5. Rhys Meyers had completed a month-long stay at an alcohol-treatment program in California in April. In the Holiday issue of Details, the actor said, “I didn’t drink until I was 25, and I never drank every day, but when I did, it was bad. It would be a couple of days that just wouldn’t work out for me, waking up with a hangover.
