OMG---How stupid are some of you....Just because he's a judge doesn't mean he can't show emotion while giving a verdict!! I mean, come on people, this is a really sad and pathetic case that is taking entirely TOO long, becasue poor Anna Nicole just needs to go and rest in peace by her son and they just need to do a DNA test on the paternity of poor baby Dannilyn and they are just making something soooo freaking difficult when those simple things need to be done! But no, Anna Nicole's FAT bleep mom won't stop trying to screw things up like Anna Nicole would want her to have nething to do with Dannilyn or her body because as she stated very clearly in her sad but last interview....She HATES HER MOM! And I don't blame her, she looks like nothing but a money grubbing pillsberry doughgirl! All these people that we've never really heard of before are coming foward "acting" like they are so heartbroken over what's happening when all they are doing is worried about getting on TV and getting her money!

Woah, I agree 100% with MACgirl. That judge is a whack job! Crying like a baby when everyone else was dried eyed? He is too in touch with his emotions. Also, he was leading the questioning of Birkhead at one point and trying to weasel out a conciliatory statement towards Stern from him. He's not counsel! He's supposed to be the judge. I suspect there are more clowns on the bench that we could ever guess and only see that dirty underbelly of the legal system when something shows up on TV.

THE DNA should tell who should get custody. I believe it should be Larry Burkhead he would be a better Father than Mr Stern. Has anyone asked the question if Mr Stern has been to Anna’s home when he went to the United States? As I believe that he is trying to get a sample for DNA testing from Larry Birkhead without anyone knowing. His Yacht story does not make sense to me and Anna was not even with him. If Anna was sick, if he was such loving man he would have WAITED and put the boat business on HOLD until Anna was feeling better and stayed with her. Someone yesterday asked a very good and important question on Larry King’s show that why is it that Mr Stern is willing to do the DNA after the court instead of before if Mr Stern knows he is the father as this could have helped him in court. I believe that he had waited until the court because he is trying to obtain a DNA from Larry Burkhead without anyone knowing. I also noticed that after the court the Judge was asked if they could use the room and also outside the courtroom I noticed on TV that Mr Stern is standing very close to Mr Burkhead …..is he trying to get a sample for the DNA testing…..so he can know if Mr Burkhead is the father before anyone….I think Mr Stern has managed to get a sample from Larry without anyone knowing.
Is the baby really safe with Mr Stern? I am concerned about the beautiful little baby girl because I don’t believe Mr Stern is the father and you have two young people who were with him when they died. How caring is Mr Stern if Anna and her son died. Mr Stern loved Anna's MONEY...what kind of love is this when Mr Stern taped Anna pregnant and on drugs out of her mind...is this a loving Father to be....he is a selfish actor who knows the law and want's nothing but her MONEY!!!!This is why she is dead and so is her son....If he was such a good man Anna and her son would have never DIED!!!

I don't care what everyone is saying. I don't think the judge wasted anyones time and I don't think he was trying to get publicity. I think he honestly cared about making the right decision. He may have gotten so upset because he felt like he was making the wrong one. The case lasted so long because he really wanted to hear what everyone had to say and get a feel for who he thought was in it for the money. I think he talked about himself so much because he wanted everyone to see that this is life and that this isn't some kind of game. I liked the fact that he tried to unify everyone. He did an excellent job through the whole case and with his ruling.

1:57 mish: i don't think they have the results of the toxicology tests, yet. Her stomach was empty (no pills). But drugs (or even prescribed med) could still have been given to her - e.g., in inhaled or liquid form and that wouldn't show up in the stomach.

1:16 PM Chantal Even a low dosage of a medication can show up. They check her stomach contents, blood and the toxology reports will show something. they can even test her hair. I heard something the other night they were talking about Brittney shaving her head. they said that hair grows a 1/2 inch a month so if your hair is 5 inches long they can go back 10 months. A mininum though because of shampoos and ect.....

1:39 PM haitian girl When Daniel died they found three types of drugs in his system. Two were anti depressants and the third was methadone.

5:00 AM Anonymous James Browns family came to an agreement this past week and he was buried. We dont know that his body wasnt decaying. It just hasnt been high profile Like Anna's.It wasnt reported about Daniels body condition either.

Anna's ex sister in law (Daniels fathers sister) was on a news show this morning. She said that Billy(Anna's ex, Daniels father) wants him with his mother. She said nothing about Texas. She also said that as far as Danilynne is concerned it would be in her best interest for that baby to say with the father(whoever he may be) She said it would be best to keep her away from Virgie and that side of the family as she called them.

if that report (on people.com) is true, that Stern kept a pouch of Anna's medication under his mattress, and that he flushed some pills down the toilet, and was overhead telling someone that "he took care of a problem" - I think that's a definite lead that should be THorougly investigated. This could def. be the way Stern did it - by messing with her medication - either substituting it for something else, changing the dosis around or whatever. (I think there're certain drugs that may not necessarily show up on post-mortem drug tests - or if given continuously, but in low dosis may not nec. show?)...

I think the folks in the Bahamas would be thrilled to see Daniel dug up and moved to the USA for burial. From what the people who live down there have said..they don't want any of that crazy bunch anywhere near the Bahamas..and that includes dead bodies AND Howard K. Stern and the baby. They're sick of all the drama and media crawling all over the place.

I have read all your comments....it really comes down to only one thing, no matter what any of us think or feel about Anna Nicole Smith....she lost her life at a very young age, lived a confused, sad, fearful and under the influence of drugs. Unless, we all were in her body, mind and soul, how can any of us JUDGE anything about her life?
We are (all) "human-beings", some less , some more in their actions & thoughts! We (all) live in glass houses, so none of us should throw any stones.
I'm sad she wasen't helped by "postitive" thinking people around her, in the right way so she could have saved herself, her son, to now be here for her baby girl.
As far as her being on drugs, there are alot of people who weither (their) faught or a (doctor's) faught...gotten on drugs. This is not a excuse, it's a FACT!
The difference is...no one cared enough to try to truly help her, for she had alot of people around that used her more, in not only sexual ways, but mostly in emotional & financial ways.
I know she is now at peace, with herself, and with her son, I truly believe that.
Maybe out of all this mess, this negative life style she led...there truly is peace, at the end of the tunnel.
May she rest there and dwell, in the love and warmth she deserved, like all of us, here on earth.
The only one that should Judge anyone, in this life, is Our God....and somehow I feel He loves her too, for that's the God I know, in my heart.....He would say, as I say,

Call me crazy, but I find it very rude and disprespectful to talk about a person badly in their death. Yes, Anna Nicole did things that people didnt agree with, but who are we to judge this woman? Especially when she is not here to defend herself. It doesnt matter what she did, it was still a tragic end to her somewhat weird and crazy life. She died after living for 5 months mourning the loss of her son. I think we should give her the respect that every person deserves when they die....

Wierd judge. Totally unprofressional. They should give him a TV show just to get him off the bench.
