Judge: No Change in Britney Spears' Visitation Rights

Britney Spears failed to win back visitation rights of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, at her emergency custody hearing at L.A. Superior Court today.

"The previous custody orders under which Britney Spears has no access to the children remains in effect," L.A. County Court Public Information Officer Alan Parachini said after the quick hearing. "Ms Spears has no custody or visitation rights at this moment."

A mohawked Kevin Federline showed up shortly after Spears, who "arrived at 9:15 to a predetermined place in courthouse," Parachini said.

"After going through weapons screening she indicated to the deputies that she wanted to leave," Parachini added. "One of the lawyers left the building with Ms. Spears. It doesn't appear that she is coming back."

Parachini said both sides presented arguments and were heard by court.

The next hearing is slated for February 4.

There is no telling what she is suffering from mentally - if anything at all.

It is a fact that she is suffering from some sort of addiction though. In order to be entered into rehab you have to have a problem and she was entered into TWO facilities. Her tests supposedly showed she was clean of illegal drugs, but prescription abuse is not ruled out by that. Her lack of treatment and behavior after leaving rehab shows she did not think there was a problem. This will be the first thing to be addressed. Only then will they be able to get an idea of a mental illness because they will be able to separate the addiction symptoms from anything else.

It is reported that she was using drugs before the kids. She also had her quickie marriage before them as well. It's possible these were signs of a long time problem.

Um 6:16 that is the worst thing I have heard anyine say. Have you heard of Karma ? You just wished a death on somebody....that can't be good. Even if it is Britney Spears.
I have a question though. And forgive me, because I am pretty ignorant when it comes to this topic, and maybe i should read up on it first. But asking is easier.
Is there anyway what Britney is suffering from (because CLEARLY it's a mental issue with her....not attention seeking) is post partum (sorry mispelled) depression ??? Because I just keep thinking that none of this really starting happening until after she had her babies. Well really the second one. I mean with her 1st, I think she really didn't do anything totally wrong it's just that it was done in front of cameras and the world got to judge.

i used to feel sorry for her but just realize that Britney is a selfish individual. The only person Britney cares about is Britney. Before she had those boys, all she talked about was how she wanted babies. Now that she has children she doesn't want to be bothered. She took care of her dogs better than she took care of those babies. i really just feel sorry for sean and jayden.

I think this is very sad. 2 little boys who need a mom and they will look back at this and have the feelings of if their mom loves them or not. How can she not go in there. She went through the hard part, getting over the scariness of showing up, she already was there and made it. All she had to do was go in the court room. I feel so sad for those little babies.
