Julia Roberts, 39, gave birth to a baby boy on Monday, her third child with husband Danny Moder, 38.
According to TMZ and the Associated Press, Henry Daniel Moder was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, weighing in at 8.5 pounds.
"All of the Moders are doing great," Roberts' publicist, Marcy Engelman, said in a statement.
Henry joins his brother and sister, two-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel.
“We had almost given up hope,” Roberts has said of her second pregnancy. “But nature took its course soon after we stopped looking at the calendar and taking temperatures.”
Roberts opened up about motherhood on The Oprah Winfrey Show last December, around the time that she announced her pregnancy. "I definitely feel that I've expanded as a human being,” she said.
“I have more empathy and more compassion, I think, because I feel so blessed on a level that I can't even wrap my mind around really."
Roberts told Winfrey that she had expected to love her children, but was surprised at how much she likes them.
"I just love them," Roberts gushed. "They're fun and happy and honest and just fill me with so much joy. I guess I didn't realize that you could really just like your children as much as your friends, you know?"
