Well, I am a 39 year old divorced mom of a 7 year old child. I date a 21 year old man. Neither of us knew the others age until 3 months into our courtship. I'm 5'3 and 120 lbs, I work out an hour each day, and I'm more fit now than I was when I was in my 20's. My 6 pack is better defined than his. I am always mistaken for someone in their mid 20s as opposed to someone approaching 40 thanks to good genes, healthy eating and excercise. As a matter of fact, I thought he was older, or at least close to my age when we first met. He pursued me relentlessly. We do NOT have a physical relationship, but we enjoy each others company tremendously! As far as what can a soon to be 40 year old woman and a 21 year old man have in common, well that depends on the couple. He and I both love jet skiing, boating, bowling, working out, sporting events, hot air ballooning, and we've even gone sky diving. We enjoy the same movies, and music, and stimulating conversation. He's a very mature 21 year old, he's very well read, and keeps up with current events, so our conversations don't lack anything. He obviously loves to date older women as his ex-girlfriend is 2 years older than I am. He's younger than my god-son who is 23, and quite frankly, more mature. Neither of us are looking to be each others soul mate. We have fun hanging out together and that's it. It's more of a friendship than a romantic relationship and that's as far as it will go.

Creepy. Not so much the age diffrence but because they are both creepy looking. She looks like a fifty year old, and he looks like a fourteen year old. Just goes to show you what getting a tan cost later on. SUNSCREEN!

I have to be honest.. I think it's really weird. I mean 44 and 21 is a BIG age difference. She could have children his age or older! And what could they possibly have in common besides they both want to get in the sack ? Nothing other than sex! I mean she can fake like she's young with style of dress and makeup, but the reality is she isn't a young chicken anymore. Don't get me wrong she's very attractive but she needs to date someone closer to her own age. I just find this relationship inappropriate for him and her. I think it looks very odd because it's like he's going around with his mother or aunt. If he was 30 perhaps I could see it.. but come on 21 is just barely an adult in today's society. What is she going to do.. go drinking at the club with him.. come on... stop trying to date your son Elle!

I love her very much . her blog is very interesting. I just read it on a celebrity and millionaire dating site called "Searching Millionaire COM". It attracted many fans.

O.k, that's cool, but not all 40 year olds are old and saggy, and remember you'll be 40 one day - when I was 20, 40 year old guys grossed me out too. Plus, by reading your comments, it shows your maturity level and that's why I wonder why any 40 year old would even want to date someone in their 20s.

Um, I think if your child is 21, there's no "letting" them do anything. They're adults and can do what they want.

I KNEW somebody was going to say, "Men do it all the time, and nobody says anything about them. Blah blah blah." Look at the freakin picture, peeps. He looks like he's 12, and she's over 40. I don't care if Tom and Katie are 20 years apart and Michael and Catherine are 80 years apart. They were older when they got together. And at least they don't look like they're children hanging out with the big people. It's just creepy. What could a 21 year old guy and Elle Macpherson possibly have in common? Anybody???
