K-Fed's Attorney: Federline Not Trying to Get More Money For Child Support

Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan tells Usmagazine.com that reports that his client is looking to increase child support payments from his ex-wife are false.

Kaplan tells Us in a statement: "Every two months, rumors have been raised in the media that Mr. Federline's lawyers are about to go into court to get more money for child support. Persistent questions are again being raised now in the press about the timing of when that will happen. As I've said, I know where to find the courthouse and what to do when I get there. If Mr. Federline had wanted to increase child support, it would be very easy to achieve and would have been requested long before now."

Kaplan adds, "There has not been and is not now a request before the court for a modification of child support. Mr. Federline's purpose in bringing this action continues to be one that is based upon the best interest of the children as his highest priority."

The $5400 a mont in rent goes to Shar. Should he tell her to find another place to live? He pays it, it is within his means. But then if he didn't, he'd be a deadbeat. He seemed to do ok with Shar and their kids before Britney, as she never took him to court to get support.

Yes he does need the nannies (apt?) and such, they are court ordered to use professional and trained people to watch the children as opposed to the untrained people who had been. As he has the kids 80% of the time and has worked out of state, he would been them.

On K-Fed's part, he saw an opportunity to do a little gold digging, and he jumped at the chance, leaving Shar and his kids without a second thought. AND he surely didn't think twice about whether his actions would hurt Britney.
This speaks clearly to K-fed's character, and what he is all about! HIMSELF!!

Financial care for children isn't everything. Kids love when you spend time with them-it doesn't matter who you are. They want to be shown love-KFed is doing that for them. 4:08 interesting you do not hold Britney accountable at all for having a relationship with a man who had a pregnant girlfriend. Personally I think that has nothing to do with parenting on either side as relationahips are a complicated thing, and to say that is indicative of any of their parenting would be simplifying something unfairly. My opinion is that Britney has issues going back way before Kevin, issues with men. She wanted to get married it seems, she wanted to have kids. She went after men who already had women. I think women who repeatedly do that usually have something to prove.

Per the court papers - really you should read them - Kevin pays Shar's rent in the amount of $5,400 a month. He also pays an additional $800 a month in support costs. Listed separately are other expenses for the children.

I do not understand how people can run their mouths without even trying to know what they are talking about. I guess some like looking like uneducated asses. Like him or not, at least know WTF you are talking about.

Tell me though, 5:41, do you vote? Do you think women should make as much as men for the same job? If so, I find it amazing how you can pick and chose which equal rights you want. Amazing and hypocritical.

That was not what the court papers said. That is what the tabloids grabbed upon. The financial records showed that Kevin made close to $600,000. The whole lack of money spin came from the tabloids as a result of the legal jargon that said the Kevin had little EXTRA money after expenses. Expenses INCLUDED his rent, bills, nannies, support, etc. His employment is that of many people in that area, a "performong artist" and self employed, not unemployed.

All of this information is available should you choose to actually try to know what you are talking about.
