Kanye West displayed a rare moment of humility at the BET Hip-Hop Awards on Sunday night.
After winning the Video of the Year award for “Stronger,” West took the stage and poked fun at all of the trophies he was passed over for (he lost in all five categories he was nominated for at the MTV Video Music Awards).
“Every time I’m nominated for something I fix my scarf, but then I don’t be comin’ up,” he cracked.
He then became uncharacteristically humble and said that he thought the groups UGK and Outkast deserved the award instead for their collaborated song “International Players Anthem.”
“I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to win an award I shouldn’t win,” West said, calling the groups to come take his statue.
After UGK and Big Boi of Outkast took the stage, they thanked the 30-year-old rapper but then gave the award back to West, saying that he deserved it.
The love-in ended with West accepting the award back and everyone leaving the stage.

Yes, a cold glass helps! I like the fruity drinks once in a great while, otherwise, they are just too sweet for me. Went to a tailgate party one time where they were having bloody marys, and I'm not a fan of tomato juice, so I mixed Malibu rum, orange juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice...DELISH. I've also tried it with Voda, darn good (and I'm getting my fruit in for the day!).

I wasn't bugging you....I was bugging the anon who started it in the first place. You were just giving a little back. I just hate having my spelling picked apart when i'm casually posting. Man, it would take me hours to sit and check every word I write, because I seriously do have a bit of a spelling problem.
No not in the US....i'm in canada.
It's funny right when I was in elementary school they changed the way they taught spelling from phonetically to another way. It really didn't work for a lot of people, including me.
When I went to university I had to relearn kinda how to remember the spelling of words. Especially when I took Anatomy and physiology....ugh!
