I am not a Kanye west fan. However it its always sad to see precious life shorted by needless plastic surgery. I hope that the West family will pull together during this difficult time. Heaven help this so called surgeon that performed this tragedy. I urge all beautiful women to rethink before choosing plastic surgery! There is something beautiful about us all!

She was absolutely beautiful the way she was, why would she want to have anything done? I wish someone could have convinced her of that.

You would think if you had medical conditions and you are older, that you would have one procedure done at a time to not cause added trauma to your body. How very unfortunate added cautions weren't taken.

I'm glad she was able to see her son's success and I pray he will be able to go on without her here.

lately I have been considering undergoing some plastic surgery and it has been something heavily on my mind lately. Just a day prior to Ms. Wests' Passing I spoke with my mother, who is the same age is Kanye's mother. She begged me not to undergo this surgery and to think very long about it before going thru with it. I was very hard headed and wasnt interested in what she had to say because I thought I was determined that I wanted my perfect body from what I thought was the easy way, at least that is until the very next morning I was awaken to hear of the terrible news and at that time my mother then spoke to me thru Kanye's mother and I hear her loud and clearly. I have stopped any thoughts of plastic surgery because I now realize that beauty is certainly from within and it took one of the most beautiful women (Ms. West) to finally teach me that truth at age 36. your family has my deepest sympathy, and I want to express to you all that God sometimes will take someone from this earth in order to speak to thousands.

I am too the mother of a gifted son and I love him very much. The world saw how much your mother loved you and you her, but no one knew that she had another need. As a black woman who thought I wanted to have these procedures done I have changed my mind. I look alot like your mother and I thought I wanted to quickly get to a place that I am not sure of, however,when I look at pictures of her she is beautiful to me and what was most beautiful to me about your mom was her love for you.

My prayer for you is that the God I love will give you the peace that passes all understanding. You are a gifted young man and know that you are loved.

May her soul rest in peace, she is now up in heaven with the lord. I ask the positive people to please not give any type of attention to the negative comments or the people that wrote them. Just ignore them for what they are, NOBODIES!! lol!! Negativity atracts negativity and there's alreay a lot of it going around on this earth so lets laugh, love, celebrate and have fun!! I'm sure his mom or any other good human being would agree with me. And lets also remember death is something we are blessed with, as life is. Being with GOD is a gift.

How ignorant are some of you people on here? You are afraid of plastic surgery...think it equals death...think plastic surgery is only for people with vanity problems. First of all, plastic surgery is incredibly safe if you go to an accomplished, experienced doctor. Second, the rate of death from plastic surgery is about 1 in 100,000. Lastly, its not only about vanity - its also about fixing things that make you incredibly self conscious...and if one has the money to fix these imperfections, WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE? If you think that people are vain for wanting to correct a few imperfections thats perfectly fine, but for those who want to make a few corrections, let them. Don't judge because you think it is moral to keep your original body - you could take this to any level - severe calorie restriction diets are dangerous, diet pills, braces, dental surgery or veneers, hair implants, botox...are these things not vain also? Just because they do not require general anethesia? Vanity is being obsessed with your looks, not letting yourself go and desiring/undergoing self-improvement means caring about your looks.
Further, you need to respect the fact that she did die from plastics...this is not the way anyone would wish to go,as these procedures are usually kept hush on behalf of the patient. So lets not make such a deal of it, just understand that Kanye's mother died and grieve - dont obsess on the reasons why, because it was her time, no matter how she went. Give her the respect she deserves as such a wonderful, caring person and mother.

My heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers go out to you Kanye and to all those that loved your mother. May your beautiful mother rest in peace. I know the pain of losing a parent all too well...my Dad passed suddenly at 59 and the pain and hurt never leave. Please know that I will keep you, your mother and family in my prayers. I am so sorry to hear this horriable news.

I blame the doctors. If you've ever watched shows about plastic surgery, you can see those plastic surgeons aren't right in the head. They don't seem to care about people's health - either physical or psychological. They're all about making a buck. A patient will come in there for one thing, and they'll try to sell them additional surgery. It's sick.
