Although I have never been, nor will I ever be, a Britney fan, from all the photos you see of Britney and her kids, they all look very happy. I think her only mistake is trying to live a "normal" life. Leave her alone and let her live her life. For those people who say she shouldn't go out, how would you feel staying home 24/7. It's not only impossible but depressing. I wonder how we all would make out if we were under surveillance 24/7.

Britney's former bodyguard likes the spotlight.
Tony Barretto (aka Fat Tony) -- who submitted an affadavit concerning his time in Britney Spear's employ to the court and then sold his tale of the pop star's drinking and drug use to a British newspaper -- and his attorney, Gloria Allred, called a press conference on Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, following a judge's decision to award temporary custody of Spear's children to their father, Kevin Federline.
"As the parent of two young children myself, I am sad to learn that Britney will no longer have custody of her children," Barretto told reporters. "However, I am happy to know that her children will now have a safe and more stable environment. I believe that Britney loves her children but I was concerned about some of her behavior in which I believe endangered them. Because of this new court order, Britney will seek and receive the help which she obviously needs so that one day, she can be reunited with her children."
In response, Federline's high powered attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan tells Us, "I appreciate Gloria Allred facilitating her client coming forward when he did. Today's proceedings did not involve his testimony. He may be called as a witness in the future."

why isn't kfed being monitored and drug-tested? he wants the kids so he can get more money out her: his alimony ends in november. an irresponsible, greedy jerk like him who abandoned his children is considered a fit parent??? why not name a legal guardian for the kids instead?
i guess when britney cut off her parents financially, they just decided to abandon their grandchildren to their fate. i guess that's stage parenting for you.

I think the courts are going on facts rather than what crazed britney fans are assuming will eventually happen

How can a man who left his kids and wife behind all the time to party when he was married, get custody of them now? He will eventually start going out more to clubs and parties again. There is no way an abusive, immature man like Kevin will always stay home to parent. Let's hope the judge finds out what he's up to and takes the kids away from him too. Britney is probably waiting for him to fall on his face by doing the same things she has been doing. She knows him better than anyone.

Britney was not K-Fed's meal ticket. Yes she's ridiculously rich but does anyone remember he was a dancer for Justin Timberlake?? The fact that he got that close to Britney in a club in the first place means he was already in with the Hollywood crowd. Being a dancer for the biggest name in music is no small feat. It's a huge accomplishment. And when going on tour, pays well. Kevin was able to have a very different life with Britney, but he was doing fine before. If he really did love Brit, there's nothing he could have said to convince everyone of that fact. That's why I don't trash him. It's such an assumption. And he had a career before her, people are just ignorant on the dance world.

Exactly. Britney is mentally not capable to take care of her kids. So don't call her a b!tch who only cares about herself. She's not a b!tch, it's not one dimensional like that. She was a great person before all this. But now she either has a mental disorder which causes her to excessively use drugs and alcohol, or her issues are a result of her use of drugs and alcohol. Either way, it should serve as a wake-up call. If someone as sweet as Britney can turn into what she is now, it could happen to anybody.

She was duped by a swindler and the consequence is that she ruined her life!!
Weeks after the birth of her second child, she took the right steps into getting rid of her problem, which was K-Fed. Unfortunately, it was too late she was now mother to two baby boys. He was, from the beginning, after his own personal interest and she was his meal ticket. She is stuck and she does not know what to do or where to turn!
These awful gossip columns and magazines will definitely help this piece of crap man further hurt this woman as they keep after her, with their hounding ways, until he gets full custody of those boys. K-Fed is playing the public no different then when he played on this woman's emotions to secure his future with her money and stardom.

Unbelievable....he has been a piece of crap from the get-go. Part of the reason she divorced him was because he was always out partying and leaving her at home to care for those babies alone. So now he is a hero? He has seen nothing but dollar signs since first hooking up with her, and I fear that is exactly what he sees when he looks at those kids. Look at his history...he left Shar while she was pregnant with second child, got with Britney and started popping out babies, then couldn't be bothered to stay home and take care of them. He is a low-life, and doesn't deserve those kids. Sure, she has problems right now, but more than likely they were brought on because of the damage he did to her life and career.

she really needs help. She is someone who is struggling with adulthood because she was so protected as a teenager. I would start to loose it if I was followed around and hounded the way she is.How can someone drive with all those flashes going off. That is really dangerous and I cannot believe that is aloud to go on. I can see photographers at events but following you around, staking out her house. It is like they want to see her loose it. Lets see how far we can push her. But I would not put my children through that crazyness. She should have moved away from that area once she had kids. I think she needs some serious therapy and where is her family. She needs them now more than ever. I think everyone wants to see her mental state healthy and I personally think that is getting out of LA. I wish I could help her and I think there are alot of people out there that feel the same way. There are real people out in the world that would not use her for her money or fame but genuinly want to help.

Wonder why it's about what the parents deserve? It is about what those boys deserve, and the Judge has two choices. Kevin might be a rat but even Shar forgave him. Britney will work hard to get them back if she does want them. If not well it's clear who the better parent is. Sad those are the only choices. And that is one hell of a lawyer!
